Hello all Steemians! My name is Bárbara López Antón, originally from the first city founded in the American continent, located in the East of Venezuela. Still don't know what it is? Well, from the rich culture, landscapes, blue skies, and lots of music, I'm from Cumaná

A lover of my city I consider myself, I am a fan of its history, its climate (although sometimes it can kill anyone😂), and there is no more perfect conjugation than our warm sun with an immense and cold sea; but above all, I am a fan of its people, of those hardworking, noble, supportive and happy people who are willing to help those who need it. I am not saying that Cumaná is perfect, because it has many problems, but I am a faithful believer that all together we can solve them. In this little piece of land I learned and lived wonderful things.

The first years of my life, I spent all of them around sports, I was a Fencing athlete for almost 10 years, and my high school I attended the sports talent school, thanks to that my life was not the same to the rest, I got to know many cities in my country due to travel for competitions, my discipline led me to prepare for regional and national games, preparations that are within and was from Venezuela, one of them was in Spain, (country from which I fell in love) and, that trip together with the others helped to forge the sense of patriotism that is in me.

When I left high school, my life changed, I had to find something to study in Cumaná, because what I wanted to be since I was little was a Social Communicator, why? Well, my grandfather was a journalist and as a child I used to see him on his typewriter, with his glasses and a newspaper next to him, doing his television program, listening to his radio program, my grandfather was a generator of change in the city His voice was important and made a difference, that marked me and from the age of 8 I already wanted to be a journalist. For me, bad luck that career was in Caracas and my mother never wanted to let me go to study elsewhere, so when I left high school I had to start studies in Telecommunications Engineering without wanting to do so, until 2015, when I was 19 years old. , which was the moment when Social Communication arrived in Cumaná.

This chapter in my life is titled "Happiness."

I had a math teacher at school who always said that "the best stage of life was university", and he was right, at the Santa Rosa Catholic University I met many great people, and the degree allowed me to meet many more things from my city, what made my love grow for each space, each story, of my town, definitely, today after 6 years I can say that my instincts were not wrong, I studied the best race in the world. A year ago I finished my studies and I am waiting for my degree, which was delayed due to the Pandemic generated by COVID-19

Despite this, I remain firm, my passion for communication and sense of public service led me to have the desire to create something of my own, and after so many attempts, two years ago together with 3 more colleagues we created Azulejo Digital, a digital communication medium based on the pillars of training and informing, generating quality content for all audiences.

Of all the areas in which I can develop in the medium, I have always preferred street journalism, because of the closeness that one has with people, knowing first-hand what happens to them, and how we can help them is very important for me, as well as video editing and the assembly of special materials I really like it.

Thanks to my boyfriend, for 3 years I have been working with a civil organization willing to train participatory and responsible citizens.

I really consider myself passionate, I am one of those who love a fried fish, I am happy when the sun wakes up super radiant and listless when it dawns cloudy, I am one of those who dips bread in coffee, who prefers to ride in sports rather than in heels, a lump grows in my throat and I cry with the notes of the anthem of my country. I love food and enjoy with friends, for me, living life means taking away the worries and multiplying the joys
