Hi everyone receive my greetings. You all welcome to my blog once more as I'm accomplishing my achievement 3 task since achievement 2 has been verified by @heriadi and I'm grateful for that. The task is about plagiarism.

WHAT IS PLAGIARISM

The term plagiarism is used to describe a situation where you take or use someone's work without acknowledging the person as the owner or simply claiming another person's work. Generally unintentional but we can still fine some intentional cases.
According to the university of Oxford, plagiarism is defined as

" Presenting work or ideas from another source as your own, with or without consent of the original author, by incorporating it into your work without full acknowledgement".

From the definition above we can see that plagiarism is the use of another person's ideas as our own without any proof of recognition

TYPES OF PLAGIARISM

"The Common Types of Plagiarism"
Source

They are four (04) common types of plagiarism which are
1-Direct plagiarism
It involves word to word copying a particular section of a person work without putting any
quotation to show that you not the author.

2-Self plagiarism
This is when a student reuses his or her previous assignment or take part of an old assignment and add to the new without any permission.

3-Mosaic plagiarism
This is a case of plagiarism where the student or plagiarist use a phrase where he or she has used synonyms to the author words without changing the meaning

4-Accidental plagiarism
It is the case of plagiarism where the person misquote the source of their phrase or neglect to add the source.

Some examples of plagiarism

-Avoiding plagiarism is very necessary because in some situations we are called to bring out our point of view so borrowing and not even recognizing that you have used gives a failure at that level.
