Hello everyone! Today I'm gonna complate my Achievement 4. I wanna write about the Turkish songs I like.
I know you all know Tarkan when it comes to Turkish music. But I love old Turkish songs Today I'll talk about a singer Hümeyra.

The Early Years

She was born in Ankara, Turkey in 1947. Her full name is Fatma Hümeyra Akbay. She started taking ballet lessons when she was just 5 years old, at the age of 10, he moved to Istanbul with his mother after the early death of his father.One day, when she was at work, her boss heard the composition,"Olmasa" , which he played with his guitar and sang, and received her first record offer from her boss, who liked it very much and her artistic life began.

She went to America in 1999 and lived in San Francisco for two years. Here she was married to Jimmy Cicero, a jazz pianist. But it didn't last long. Humeyra, who was first introduced to theater scenes in the 1980s, has acted in 10 different plays in total to date. After the year 2000 she started to act in movies. Besides her music carreer, she conquer our heart with her acts in movies and tv serials. She has received numerous international and national awards for her projects in which she has played a role to date.
