As humans, we are attracted to what we see to be beautiful. A nicely presented post with no meaningful content can get a lot of views more than a post which has meaningful content but lacks the proper presentation. For this reason, I see presentation to be key in my steemit life in such a way that, people will have to be able to gain rewards. All this rewards cannot be achieved if I put out content without proper presentation. This is why I have decided to proceed with my achievement 4 which is going to enlighten me on how to use markdowns to nicely format and present my posts.
There are several markdowns which I have heard of but I have been able to use only few. However, I will be talking about some basic markdowns and how they can be applied to posts to make the post look attractive.

Markdowns used for Headers




Headers are very essential in posting and there are different types of headers which can be used for different purposes.
To create a header, I add a hashtag (#) and give space and enter the header text. But to reduce the size of the header, you increase the number of hashtags before the header text. Below is an illustration.

Bolding of texts is one of the easiest things to do when writing a post. To bolden a text one needs to add two asterisks (**) before the text you want to bolden. Below is a demonstration

Markdowns can be applied to make numbers or letters fall below the base line of a text or sentence. The markdown used here is ( ) and its demonstrated below.

This markdown is useful when it comes to the typing of mathematical equations and also making references. The tags used for this functions are and its demonstrated below
