Hi everyone, welcome to my achievement 2 task. this task is all about the basic security on steem. we all know the importance of security. If we do not secure our house, it can be invaded by thieves or robbers. its the same way in steemit. Its very important that we secure our keys. Without much talking I will like to attempt the following questions:

Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?
Yes I have. From the very first day I signed up my keys were sent to me.

Do you know each of this keys functions and restrictions?

yeah I do.

• POSTING KEY my posting key enables me to make posts, comments, edit posts, vote on peoples posts, resteem, follow or mute accounts. It cannot be used for monetary tansactions.

• ACTIVE KEY the active key is used for monetary transactions. I can use my active key to transfer my steem to another user, power up, place market order, etc.

• THE MEMO KEY the memo key is used for the decrypting and encrypting of private messages.

• OWNER KEY the owner gives full control over our steem account. I can use it to reset or change all other keys.

• MASTER PASSWORD this is used to generate all other keys on steemit. this is the most important key and for such reason should be kept very safe.

• How do you plan to keep your master password safe?
  Knowing the importance of this key I did not need to be told to keep it safe. I made sure I secured it by making two offline copies of in two different diaries.

• Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another user account?
  yes, I recently learnt that.
  to transfer my steem to another user the first step I take is to :
  _Login to my wallet using my active key
  _Click on steem balance
  _select transfer
  _fill in the details, the username and the amount you want to transfer

• Do you know how to power up your steem?
  To convert my steem to sp here is the process I take:
  _login to my wallet
  _click on steem balance
  _select power up
  _fill in the amount of steem I want to power up.
  _click on power up
