Hello Steemit community!

Welcome to my blog.

The fundamentals about this content etiquette is that you must post content, ideas that are of your own imagination and initiation. This will intrigue one to be creative in steemit community. However, I will be fulfilling my achievement task 3 on "CONTENT ETIQUETTE", the guidelines on how to make posts/contents on Steemit.

CATEGORIES OF PLAGIARISM
Plagiarism can be seen in different ways which I will elaborately explain.

  • Mosaic Plagiarism

This category of plagiarism is the most frequently used that is most times unintentional, it is actually borrowing the text written by another person without putting it in quote(" ").

    Example
"I find that the harder I work, the more luck I seem to have." (President Thomas Jefferson)

The above is a quote by the aforementioned person, not putting the above words in quote is Mosaic Plagiarism.

  • Self Plagiarism
  • This category is really confusing, some will ask how? Answer:using a previous work of yours directly or indirectly in any form to make new post or new content without the permission granted from the recipients of the old write-up you did.

    An example of Self Plagiarism is the screenshot below;

  • Direct Plagiarism
  • This category as the name direct implies, copying word for word in the same order as the original created text was,in order not to be tagged plagiarizer just understand the text/ content and rewrite in your own words.

An example of direct plagiarism is the screenshot below

  • Accidental Plagiarism
  • This category as called accidental is an unintentional act where one uses a person idea or post and forgets to cite the source or owner. To avoid being punished by law, always cite a text.

An example of accidental plagiarism is the screenshots below

    Furthermore,
In citing an image/picture there are simple steps in doing that which is to use the [ ] markup sign, and within it, write "Source" or "Image Source",After which you use the bracket ( ) then paste the image address link within it.

    Example [Source](image link:https.www)

I have read and understood the Steemit Etiquette on Steemit Community and will do all in my best to embrace them.

To the attention of @cryptokannon this is my achievement 3
