Armstrong foil, the leading brand in the surfing industry, will give you some hints.
Quote what Mark Zuckerberg posted on Instagram “Foiling just need to be a thing!”
Doesn’t it look like some kind of witchcraft? The Armstrong foil kit is the closest thing in real life to Nimbus 2000! Gliding on white water effortlessly, flying in the air gracefully, Dancing on the surface of the ocean, as we often put it. Tell me it’s not a plot in J. K. Rowling’s Fiction.
For this question, we’ve invited Armie Armstrong to answer this question for us, the Co-founder and designer of Armstrong Foils, the leading brand in the surfing industry.
Well, the fun part is all about the physics of the little bird below the foil surfboard. If you know about fluid dynamics, you will know how the airplane works. Then it’s the same thing with the foil boarding stuff. Both the front wing and tail wing of the foil kit are curved, while the curve of the front wing curve is facing the water, which will generate a lift in flowing water, the speedier the water flows, the bigger the lift would be. And the tail wing is on the contrary with the curve facing the air, so it will drag down the fuselage and the mast and generate a perfect balance for the whole hydrofoil setup as well as the rider. To conclude all stated above, the mojo is the spell cast by Sir Newton Issac, that’s his Third Law of Motion.
