Greetings to everyone. Hope you guys are doing well. Since my achievement 2 has been verified, this gives me the opportunity to tackle the achievement 3, which talks about content etiquette.

WHAT IS PLAGIARISM?

"Plagiarism is presenting someone else’s work or ideas as your own, with or without their consent, by incorporating it into your work without full acknowledgement. All published and unpublished material, whether in manuscript, printed or electronic form, is covered under this definition. Plagiarism may be intentional or reckless, or unintentional.source

That is, plagiarism is the act of stealing or copying someone's work and presenting them as your own work.

Plagiarism has been grouped in many forms. Here are some of the forms of plagiarism.

Direct Plagiarism:This simply means copying of the same words record of a segment of someone's work, without using quotation marks.

Mosaic Plagiarism:This form of plagiarism means reproducing expressions or thoughts from different sources and assembling them as one content.

The following are the steps to avoid plagiarism:

Keep track of the sources you consult in your research.source

Paraphrase or quote from your sources (and add your own ideas).source

Credit the original author in an in-text citation and reference list.source

Use a plagiarism checker before you submit.source
