Steemit is always innovating and seeking improvement for all. I think this is an excellent idea because newcomers need to be oriented and sometimes they can feel that they are at a disadvantage with the more advanced ones. When the little fish can swim on their own, the whole sea of Steemit will be for them. Greetings, @cryptokannon

Hi @nancybriti thank you for your support and inspiration words on steemingcurators discord 😊

Yes hopefully with this community, newcomers feel free to express themselves and show us their talents and anything of value they want to share with steemit community.

I am going to finish up the Achievements soon, and start the Minnow Support program, and once that is going I am going to create a guide for new users.

The guide will describe my past experience with STEEM and little about other Crypto. I will get into Bitshares, Bitshares assets, and the fact that all the old Witnesses were also part of OpenLedger. I will also briefly mention the Anarcho-Capitalist takeover of Steemit about 3 years ago, the downturn of the platform, Ned selling it to Justin Sun. And the "Under New Managment" situation now with the Hive fork, as well as introduce the Greeters, etc. And get in to aspects of the initial Hardfork and then the new features Justin Sun (or his team) is adding, such as Communities, then have a guide or directory of some communities, the New Comers Acheivements, the Minnow Support program, etc

that's great! Looking forward to it 😊

All in 1 post for new users.

I just thought about it. Did you guys know there was a girl that got $30,000 in Upvotes on 1 single post in year 1 of STEEM? A lot of stuff happened.

Good to see this.

This separate community will surely help all new joiners at the initial stage.

@cryptokannon, I am not a part of Country Representatives and The Steem Greeters Team, but I do welcome to newcomers on their introduction and achievements posts, so in my welcome note may I have permission to add about this community so that the newcomer will know about this from their very first step.

@stream4u hi thank you for your intentions to help on spreading about this community to the newcomers. I hope all the steem community members have the caring heart as you do 😊 please spread the words about this Steemit Nursery far and wide!

Hi @cmp2020, @sapwood, @neerajkr03, @rishabh99946, @cryptokannon, @kiwiscanfly.

For Newcomers, I have one suggestion/idea as an Achievement Task, Can I share it with you all? If you feel good then maybe you would like to add that under Lists of Achievement Tasks, Resources & Materials: Newcomers Resources or make a separate for it.

I think this is a great idea! It'll be a great way of helping newcomers to feel more welcomed along their journey in Steemit, it'll also encourage them to bond with other newcomers...
I love to see how Steemit is growing day by day as a community and not just a content platform :)

It is a good idea to support the new members of Steemit, to guide them adequately, to teach them how to use the labels, as well as the functioning of the communities and the healing strategies, and to avoid that their publications are silenced, without knowing why they have received such action.

Hi @adeljose yes this community will be a place for them to experiment and make mistakes without feeling bad/anxious. We don't expect "newborn" to get to know how to drink milk properly at the beginning of their life, so here we will teach them how and they are free to learn in their own way.

It's great!

Brilliant

This was great idea for newcomers. They will have a great opportunity for this. For this support their nervousness was removed. They will comfortable and easy to write any other topic. They can also increase their thought and also recognize their skill. Look like that they have their freedom. Thank you @cryptokannon

Good idea ! This continuous support will protect the newcomers in this platform.

I loved it!! It's pretty difficult the begining, so It's quite important to give newcomers the possibility of feeling comfortable to post anything they want to, and to be guided to do it in a right way. I think It's a great complement to Newcomers' Community!

Hi. Without being corrected and graded on Achievement 2, could I do my next assignment? I want to move on and I haven't been graded on the last published assignment.

Thank you for your kind attention.

Hi! sure, you can move on with the next task, but if the curators of a specific achievement task asking you to correct some of your tasks, then please respond to their request do so they can give you a pass on that achievement.

Perfect. Thank you for the timely reason.
Tomorrow I will continue with the homework and The Diary Game, since I have been a little busy these days.

Excellent initiative to have an exclusive community for the continuous support to Steemit Newborn

yes @tocho2 Maria hopefully we can retain the newcomers with this community.

I am joining now.

This is a very nice step. Soon i am going to be recruiting new members in the STEEMIT PAKISTAN Community so i will tell them to complete those achievement and join this new community for better understanding of steem network. A very good initiative :)
Yours, Haidermehdi.

Great initiative.

It was really needed. Now, newcomers can learn from fellow newcomers and from us as well in one place. I will also try my level best to guide them. This community is like an internship program for them and we will provide all required training to make them successful while they will be submitting posts inline with steemitblog initiatives and for contests.

It's a good idea. It will be like a school for newbies.

Your name is very good. Your community will achieve success. We can participate in it.

@cryptokannon

It is really necessary so that all the new ones are oriented and along the way they can become familiar with the community that most of them are already prepared to share quality content in those communities. I congratulate you for your work, always thinking of bringing an order that leads us to growth in the Steem blockchain!
You have my support and collaboration, just let me know by writing I am here to serve you! Greetings from Venezuela.

Excellent. This will give the newcomers a little extra margin to discuss anything they would like to. Now they are not restricted to only tasks.

yes @sapwood hopefully, they will utilize it smartly to build their presence on steemit and also their SP.

Yes, building their presence through their activities and to remain in staked is the objective of all such initiatives. They will develop a sense of belongingness each day with their immutable digital home here in Steem Blockchain.

Thank you.

Steem on.

@cryptokannon
@sapwood

You discussed good points, exactly, even if need to do a spoon-feeding no worry but make every new joiner much comfortable like they start feeling that this is their own portal and ready for the future journey, but of course, it's up to people that how they understand and their way to adopt the new things and take seriously.

As my professional is a service provided in the IT industry, so as an understanding of the client's point of view and their mindset, I tried to put that experience here and the things I observed it seems most of the peoples join only keeping in mind that is Earning, but due to insufficient of information and no proper guidance they not able to stick and then become inactive.

Your teams will surely drive this new concept and get a 100% result. Best of luck for this new community.

This is great news for us newcomers, thanks greeters
