WHAT IS PLAGIARISM?
Plagiarism refers to the legal term which protects a content creator precisely a writer from his work to be copied by a third party. The concept of plagiarism helps promote originality, authenticity and provide validity as regards to any piece of writing or creative work.

             Going forward, the idea of plagiarism does not really involves the "replication of an idea" rather it is more concerned about the expression of that idea, that is in terms of sentence structure, dictions, angle of the story telling e.t.c.

             A vivid example of how a writer can defy the odds of plagiarism in his write-up is the use of citation method. The concept of citation method entails that the writer is allowed to quote the exact words or work of a particular author as long as he gives some sort of attribution to the author of such works.

            This is usually the best form of defying the devious act of plagiarism .   A vivid example of the citation method can be found below;

"Democracy is the government of the people, by the people and for the people"(Abraham Lincoln).

         I have read and understood the steemit etiquette on Steemit community and would do my best to embrace them.
