According to Wikipedia
Plagiarism is the representation of another author's language, thoughts, ideas, or expressions as one's own original work.[1][2] In educational contexts, there are differing definitions of plagiarism depending on the institution.[3] Plagiarism is considered a violation of academic integrity and a breach of journalistic ethics. What is plagiarism ?

Plagiarism is represent someone's work ,as yours . Plagiarism also includes copying from websites research papers or anything else . Well plagiarism is illigal however if the source is mentioned then it will not be considered illegal. It is a branch of crime where we steal someone's content such as other people's photos, videos or writings, and we call it content theft etc, it is the branch that I will write about for you. It is better to avoid it and you will be safe from this evil.

Types Of Plagiarism

Complete Plagiarism : The word itself says complete means totally stolen content from others. If someone steals or copies entire work of others and that his/her own without giving proper citation or mentioning source that is known as complete plagiarism.

Self Plagiarism : It occurs when somebody uses anyones previous assignment work without getting the permission of the writer.

How To Avoid Plagiarism ?

Simply don’t cut and paste from a website or retype something from a print source. Even if you do then use quotes and citations properly. Write the information in your own words, but do not change its meaning or intention Because you are using someone else’s idea, always mention the source even if you use your own words. You may have been told that if you put something into your own words, you need not cite. This is incorrect. The material is still someone else’s idea and requires acknowledgement. Paraphrasing requires a citation. If you don’t give credit to a source, it is a violation of copyright laws.
