This achievement is about the basic security of steemit keys. Security is mainly to ensure the safety of your properties or assets. It is good to ensure that your properties are secured. You have to make sure you lock your rooms and your main gate before leaving.

When talking about security in steemit, one has to keep his or her keys on a secure and safe platform. But you can see that the Steemit platform servers can remember us when we log into our account on the platform. So, leaving your mobile device with friends who know about Steemit does not make your account secure from hackers and fraudsters. Your account is not secured and saved when you save your keys on the Steemit servers.

I have retrieved my Steemit keys after I created my Steemit account. These keys were downloaded to my device to grant me access to the Steemit platform, which is to be able to make posts and reply to posts. These keys were also saved on my telegram page privately.

The keys are retrieved from the steemit platform and are discussed below

Private posting key: This is one of the keys in my Steemit keys, which is the first key I used to log into my Steemit account. The private posting key is used to log onto your Steemit account to start posting and commenting on other authors' posts.

The private active key: is used in your steemit wallet to perform transactions.

The private memo key: is also used to view encrypted memos on the steemit platform.

master password: it is a key that can perform multi functions and it is the master password that was used to generate all the other keys.

private owner key: this key is used to regenerate the other keys and recovering of your account when it is been hacked.

How to power up your author rewards

To redeem and complete other transactions in your steemit account, you must first log into your steemit wallet. have to click on your profile at the top right corner of your device. Then navigate to Wallet to log in by using your username and private posting key.

After you log into your wallet, you can now redeem your author rewards, which can be converted to steem to power up. When
you first redeem your author, it will come as sbd, trx, and sp, which will automatically add to your accumulated sp.

To convert your sbd to sp, you have to move to sbd and click on the downloaded icon to view the menu options. You have to click on the market to buy your STEEM. Enter the amount of Sbd you want to use to buy STEEM and then click on "Buy Steem."

Since I do not have a steem dollar, I can't proceed to buy steem since I have to have a sbd exceeding the lowest amount asked for. The next operation required you to enter your private active key to finish the operation.

Since you bought steem now, you can power up your steem to steem power by following the steps below:

• click on the downloaded icon or drop down icon at STEEM And then navigate to the power up button.

• Enter the amount of STEEM you want to use to power up.

• click OK to continue the process.

• Then enter the active key to finish the operation.
