Achievement 2 @drahmad01 Task : Basic Security on Steem

Good Morning,

Wishing you happy and enjoying day. So, stemians I started my journey on steemit last month now I have achievement 1 verified. Now today you will able to see and judge my second achievement. Here Today I will share my Second Achievement with title of Basic Security on steem.

As, Sir @ripon0630 guided me to make my achievement 2 through there comment. I got plenty of information there and Read the article to get knowledge about the keys and how to use them and which key is meant for which purpose. I will try to give my every honest answer in this article.

• Question No 1:

Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?

I am well aware with Blockchain and Cryptocurrency. I have some experience in Cryptocurrency so I know the importance of keys as they control whole of your account or assets.

I stored my keys on a number of places like In my laptop, I also store these keys in my Private Cloud Storage. Make a back up file and store them there and I also write them on a paper. I think I will never lose my keys as I use different ways to store it.

• Question No 2:

Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?

Yes, I know the functions and Restrictions of these keys. As the introductory post for achievement no 2 help me a lot to get information about these keys. How to use them and which key lead to which effect on Steem Blockchain.

Posting key:

Posting key is general and most used keys on Steem Blockchain. This key is used for Posting articles, Commenting, deleting or pinning any comment or post. This key is used to post things on steem Blockchain and it is included in the pdf file Which we download while creating account.

Active key:

Active key is realed to our wallet. It help us to use the functions of our wallet such as Making any transaction required a active key. power up and power down are also controlled by this key. Means this key has full control on your wallet.

Owner Key:

Owner key is the key which is used to reset your previous keys and when you use this key to reset your keys it also change and you will get new keys. It should be placed safe so we can use it in case of emergency.

Memo Key:

I am not much well aware from it but I know it is used to make memo to send or receive private encrypted messages.

Master Key:

Master key is the most powerful key on steem Blockchain as this key can be used for every purpose. Means you can reset your keys if you forget them using this key. We get this key when we Create account on Steem Blockchain.

Public Keys:

There are few public keys which are also present in the pdf that we download when we Create our account on Steem Blockchain. These keys don't have much to do with our wallet or account as they can't be used to access our account in anyway.

Tron Private Key:

Tron Wallet is also created along with steem Wallet and tron private key is used to import our wallet to some external wallet or to transfer our funds or to put them on stacking.

Tron Public Keys:

These keys are used to get tron into your wallet. Mean it is the deposit address of your Tron Wallet. It can be public and can be used to get trx to your account.

How do you plan to keep your master password?

Master Password is the most powerful and useful password on steem Blockchain as this password is very important to get access your account in case of emergency.

I placed this password to my laptop, My USB flash drive, Cloud Storage and print it on a paper so I can get access to it in case of emergency and when I am need of it.

• Question No 4:

Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?

Yes, I know to transfer steem token to another steem user account. Let me show you in step by step.

• 1st step is to logon your steem wallet and click on transfer as shown below.

• Enter the details of acc you want to transfer token.

• Now review your details and click confirm to make the transaction.

Do you know how to power up your STEEM?

Yes, I know ro power up Steem. Here I will show how it work.

• 1st click on power up as shown in screenshot below.

• Now enter the amount you want to Power up. Click Powerup.

• Now confirm your transaction and click ok to convert your liquid steem to Steem Power.
