In this post though I'll get right to it and I will try to keep to the point and be as concise and clear as possible:

How you retrieve all your keys on Steemit?

Once you signed up - you will receive your master password which you should ensure is kept safe under all circumstances. With this you can retrieve all your different keys from your wallet under the Keys and Permissions tab - you will see later in this post what are all these different keys are used for.

• Posting Key

Think of your house key - you use it everyday to open the door of your house.
This is the key you should be using probably like 95% of the time - for posting, commenting and voting - the social aspects of Steemit.

• Active Key

Think of this as the password to your payment app (like Google or Apple Pay, or Android Pay or PayPal). You this key to make transactions e.g.: transferring or exchanging tokens.

• Owner Key

Think of this as extra security layer when you accessing a bank account or the dual authentication when using online services. But really this is the key to the safe in your home where you stack all that cash and gold. This is therefore a very important key which you should make sure to store securely at all times and only use it if you need to recover (for whatever) reason you Steemit account.

• Memo Key

This is a little like a key to your bedroom door when you live alone. It could be useful in the future (for example if you rent out a spare room) and you want some privacy but whiles you live alone you don't really use it.
Memo keys are used to encrypt and decrypt messages sent on the blockchain.

• Public Key(s)

Your public key isn't really a key - more like unique user id on the blockchain where you can view the history of it.

How do you plan to keep your master password?

Very important question and one you should take seriously. Have a cold wallet for your keys... what? E.A.Z.Y.
cold ~ physical storage with no internet connection
hot ~ on a device with internet connection / online

You have a few options:

1. simply write down you keys on a piece of paper - put it in a fire and water proof safe in your home next to your most important valuables - you don't want to lose all those STEEM DOLLARS
2. Cold wallet - a bit more sophisticated - something like Ledger Nano X

Another important thing to note is that it is a very good idea to go for more than 1 option - in case one fails and you lose it or one gets damaged.

I personally do both. But I have hot wallets as well for smaller amounts - for ease and simplicity.

How to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?

In your wallet navigate to Balances -> have a look at your STEEM

You can trade this on the internal market / or transfer to an account or alternatively you can use it to power up on your Steem Power.

In order to transfer to another account just click the dropdown next to the STEEM tokens you have and select Transfer. Simple as ABC.

How about powering up your STEEM?

You can get this done in a blink of an eye. Just like when transferring -> go to your wallet -> click the dropdown next to your STEEM tokens and select power up.

Enter the amount of tokens you would like to use to power up click Power Up and you are done. Easy-peasy.
