I really want to appreciate those that supported me and read my last achievement post.....
You all have motivated me a lot,below is my achievement 3 post...hope you'll like it?

Definition of plagiarism

  • Firstly we can say that plagiarism can be defined as
    Copying large pieces of a text from a source with out citing that source. Or can be said to be taking passage's from multiple source ,piecing/joining them together and turning the work into your own.

  • Secondly
    Plagiarism can be defined as the steal and pass of another person's idea or words and another as he or her own's.....

  • Thirdly
    Plagiarism can be said to be the combination of two or more content in other form a better one...

Because of plagiarism most bloggers are afraid to post their content with out being relieved that it might be copied,and I think that's not fair.....
To copy other people work,is just like stealing other people's hard work

Types of plagiarism

They are different types of plagiarism
Some can be in a minor way and some can be in a Major way...

  • Direct plagiarism

This is defined as the word for word plagiarism or rather clone plagiarism,direct plagiarism involves the copying a whole piece of effort by some one,and claiming it as your original entry..
Example of a direct plagiarism
Original I have been trying my best to achieve the medal
Copied - I have put in so much effort in other fore to achieve the long awaiting trophy..

  • Self plagiarism

This is seen as the main problem we student face now..
This occurs or happen when a student summit's his or her works......
Self plagiarism Is seen as when a student copies the previous work,with out permission from a lecturer/professor's...
Self plagiarism can be seen as the submitting the same piece of work for assignments in different subject without acquiring permission from both lecturer

Example

Posting the same thing in different communities....

  • Mosaic plagiarism
    Mosaic plagiarism is seen as when a student borrows borrows phrases from a source with out using quotation marks or find synonyms for the authors language while keeping the same general structure and meaning of the original.....
    This is called "Patch writing"

  • Accidental plagiarism
    This is said to be the caused when a person neglates to cite thier source's or mosquitoes their sources by using similar words,sentence structure with out attribution...It is possible to plagiarized other people work in terms of researching for a paper

  • Complete plagiarism
    This is seen as the most severe form of plagiarism when a researcher takes a manu script or study that some one that study else where created,and submits it as his or her own entry

  • Source based plagiarism
    This may occur when when different different types of sources. For example when a researcher references source that is incorrect or does not exist it is a misleading citing.....

  • Auto or self plagiarism
    This meaning are all the same,
    This is seen as duplication..
    It occurs when an author rescues a portion of his or her previous publishers work with out attribution..
    This type of plagiarism involves mostly public reachers and less of university students....
    Many academic journalist have strict criteria on the percentage of authors work that is resuable

  • Paraphrasing plagiarism
    This is a very common type of plagiarism.
    This involves the using of some one else writing with the replacement of some minor changes in the sentences and using it as one's own.... Even if the words are different the idea of the work still remains the same...

  • Incurate Authorship
    This is said to be seen as the act where by
    In one form and individual contributes to many script but does not get credit/merits for it....
    According to my research this type of plagiarism is a violation to code of conduct...

How To Avoid plagiarism

  • Keep tracks of sources you consult in your research
  • paraphares or quote from your sources an add extra idea's
  • credit the original author in an in text citation
  • use a plagiarism checker
  • take your time to Read your work
  • AVOID TEMPTATION.....

My advice to everyone is try to stop the use of plagiarism

i have studied and understood the steemit etiquette on steemit comunity and i will do my best to embrace them
