Hello everyone, I hope you're all doing well. I'm a newbie to Steemit. I am very happy to have the opportunity to be part of the Steemit community. Here is my introductory post for Achievement 1. I am Isam Salem from Benghazi, Libya. I am 48 years old. I have a master's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Strathclyde in Scotland. Currently , I work as a lecturer at the University of Benghazi.

My Family.
I am a father of four children. My wife works as a teaching assistant at the University of Benghazi, and we live in the western district of Benghazi city.

My hobbies.
My first hobby is traveling. I like to communicate with other people to understand their culture and heritage. Also, I like blogging and writing articles about different topics which opens the doors for discussion and engagement. Also I like attending social events to listen and discuss the views of the others.

My knowledge about Cryptocurrencies.
I have little experience with this subject, I am trying to dedicate part of my time to learn more as I feel it is the future of money.

How I knew about Steemit.
My first experience with Steemit was on YouTube through @spencercoffman with his interesting elaboration and the fluidity of information which he provided about Steemit. Later on, I started searching and viewing others like @gostar who was very helpful to me in understanding the platform

Conclusion.
As a beginner full of excitement, I will try to provide good topics with valuable content for Steemit community, Also I think it is very good to turn my accumulated experience in blogging into real business.
