Bringing to light the importance Of Security to any platform.
Haven Gone through all the available steamit security keys and tips, it has opened my eyes to how important each and every one of those keys are.
With adequate guidelines and procedures provided, I will like to throw more light on the various security keys for easy access to we the newbies.
To Start with, How do you intend to keep your master key/password?
All that is needed to be done, it's just to downloaded the password/key and saved them on your phone or copy them and saved on your notepad..
Following the above question permit me to ask if you have gotten all your steemit keys/password?
For me,Yes I have. Please if you haven't try and do so it helps Alot.
To hit the nail by the head, Below are some of the steemit keys/password provided by Steemit provides
1: POSTING KEYS: This key serve as a master key to all social actions.
· Publish/post comment
· Edit/post comment
· Upvote/downvote
· Follow
· Resteem
2: PRIVATE KEYS: Active key permission
· Transfer tokens
· SBD conversions
· Create user
3: OWNER KEY:(Master key) comes in handy when trying to recover lost account.
· Reset owner/active and posting keys
· Recover account
4: MEMO KEY: Send/view encrypted messages.
5: PUBLIC KEY: associated with usernames and can be used to look up associated transactions on the block chain.
SOME BASIC STEEMIT SECURITY TIPS
· Use posting key for everyday login
.Ensure to save all these keys on a notepad or somewhere safe
At the completion of this #Achievement 2 it has helped open my eyes which has helped me improve my knowledge about steemit.
With a step by step knowledge gain on steemit I hope to complete other achievement soon.
