Achievement 2 || Understanding Steemit keys

Security is a very important thing. Because we want to secure the security of anything that is very important to us. When we go to do a job, we see how secure the job is. We even see how secure the money we put in our wallet is. Similarly, Steemit has used many keys to increase the security of its users. What they have done is that they have given different passwords for different tasks without leaving a single password. The advantage is that we have a lot of keys. And I want to talk about these keys now.

MAIN PASSWORD

I will first talk about the main password. You will notice that when you signed up for Steemit, they gave you a key. They said to keep the key offline. They also said that the key could not be restored if the key was lost. What did we do then? We logged into Steemit wallet with this key. And with this key we unlocked all the remaining keys. When we login to our wallet with the key, we go to the keys and permissions section, it shows a lot of passwords. So from here it is understood that we can unlock these passwords with this main key. Again we can change our main password with this password. Then it is understood how important the main password is. We need to save this main password offline.

POSTING KEY

Usually if you want to post or comment or vote you will need a posting key.One thing here is that even if your post is lost, you will not be able to access your wallet. Wallet cannot be accessed with this key

ACTIVE KEY

As I said earlier, the wallet cannot be accessed with the posting key. So how is it possible? It is possible to access the wallet with the active key. Everything related to wallet related work is done with active key. For example, if you want to transfer your money to someone, you will need an active key. So from here it is clear that this key is much more important for you

OWNER KEY

The owner key is very important, because with the owner key you can change the rest of the keys except main password. Then it is understood that this key is equally important. You have to save it offline
