Achievement 1 I Self-Introductory Post in Steemit

Introducing one self is not an easy task in this steemit platform which I have heard so many good stories. But I should have the guts in doing so to formally be known and be a part in this growing community.

I have known this platfrom through my elder sister@abby0207 as she joined last March this year. I heard captivating experiences from her, on how she grow, earn, and help.

I am Francis Salazar, married, blessed with three responsible kids. I am a disciplined father that I always impose rules in the house that my children will learn from it. But I am also a loving father that I make sure, I am able to provide their needs, give time to them and listen to their talks.

Just like my sister, I am also a high school teacher in the pubic school here in the Philippines, handling computer servicing, information and communication technology. I have been teaching for 6 years. Actually teaching is not my first job, I worked before as a computer programmer, luckily after my college graduation since I graduated "Most Outstanding Student" in my batch, I got the job offered for me right after.
But then, our company was closed in the year 2015, I decided to take education units, took a board exam, fortunately with God's grace I passed, then I got this teaching job.

I encountered lots of adjustments in my new profession. Unlike when I was working in the office, I don't need to deal with too many people. At first, I was so confused and felt so tired, later I realized, those were just ways to sharpen my knowledge and be tough in uneasy times.
Now I am assigned in the school's computer laboratory, which I also like as doing computer works is my field of expertise. I also write students' learning modules in this times of pandemic, that is the only way I could contribute to their learning. I also like animation that I was able to present my work here in our division.

I am a youth advocate that I gladly take part in every activities, like clean-up drive and mangrove planting since our country, our place is surrounded with so many islands that needs to be nurtured.

I guess, that would be all.

I believe I could contribute in this steemit community with my experience being a teacher and in my passion of computer works. I am thankful that I am now able to share my first post here.
