1. Do you understand how voting and curation work in steemit?
Curation is a reward mainly for voting. Curation is earned when you upvote a good content. All post pay out are after seven days and this payout is being shared or distributed among the two parties which are the author and the curator. The author earns 50% of the amount on the post while curators are those who voted the post distributed amongst themselves the remaining 50%.
Voting a post in Steemit is just like liking a post on social media. You can either Upvote or Downvote at the bottom of each post. The Green arrow is for Upvote, while the Red arrow is for Downvote.
2. What happened if you vote a post before 5 minutes marks after posting?
When you upvote or vote a post before 5 minutes marks after posting, you will lose some part of our curation reward, and the part which is lost will go to the reward pool. See below a tabular description of the curation reward percentage (%) and also the time.
If you like a post/content, you acknowledge the content by upvoting it. If you also have more SP (which is Steem Power), your vote will have a big influence on the rewards than a user with a smaller SP, but it also depends on the voting mana which you hold. It is originally set to 100%. And for every 100% vote, your cast will use 2%.
A post can be downvoted for some reason, if the post contains some unacknowledged contents or the post does not follow the guidelines set. Some users may leave a comment describing why they downvoted or they might not.
3. Who will you vote for Steem Witness? and why?
Before I started posting my achievement posts I had none, and since witnesses are selected by the steem communities to create blocks for the Steemit blockchain. I will vote for @steemchiller and one of the reasons is because he made @steemworld.org it's has being really helpful to a lot of Steemians.
4. Which community will you join in Steemit and why?
I'm already in some communities when I joined Steemit, communities like @steemitnursery, @campusconnect and @steemalive. But I would be joining crypto academy because I have interest in cryptocurrency since I was in secondary school and I have no one to put me on so hope to learn so much about crypto in the community.
Thank you for taking your time to read through to the end of my post❤️
