I have been freelancing on fiver since 2020. Overall it has been a really good experience working many different people from different backgrounds and all at the comfort of my home...
Now getting to the main point on how to earn money...
-First you need a skill to sell (very obvious). Try actually acquiring a skill yourself unless you are hiring someone else for the work... Trying to go short routes like copy pasting or using premade work makes it hard to grow... And there is BIG chance you will get banned.
-Then comes ACCOUNT CREATION. This the part where most just try to skip and hastily move forward... Try to slowly build your profile and give a good description not only what you're selling also about your skills... Try also telling about some other skills that may not seem relevant but will be for your client. This is a key point always use your own picture as PROFILE PIC... using some lame background or picture of something else will loose client trust...
-If you are just starting off you can ask someone to get a paid review it will help you a lot starting out. BUT ASK THEM FOR SOME REAL WORK. LIKE A GOOD CLIENT, ALSO TRY TO DO IT AFTER 2 3 DAYS OTHERWISE YOU MIGHT GET BANNED FOR GETTING FAKE REVIEWS.
-Once you have been established start raising your price anyhting before that keep them low. Check the market of your skill and see what is the minimum they are doing work for... don't go lower then that you will just shift the balance... Lowering the value of a skill.
That is all Happy freelancing and hope you gain success in your career.
