I have been hearing a lot of testimonies about this platform but I was never interested not until I saw a close friend of mine testifying how the platform has affected his life positively. I am looking forward to be of a greater impact on this platform, kindly stay tuned as I introduce myself. Thank you.
MY BACKGROUND
I am Gabriel Harry Nnane, a proud citizen of a Western African Country Nigeria. I'm an entrepreneur and a public service renderer. I was born on the 28th day of August 1986 into the family of late Mr Gabriel Saturday Nnane in a community called Kporghor in Tai local government area of Rivers State Nigeria. My both parents are citizens of Nigeria and both are from the same local government and same State. I come from a family of 8 members, my Dad, my Mom, three boys and three girls and I happen to be the third child of the family and also the second son. My Dad was a civil servant while my Mom is a business woman. We are a Christian family that loves God and love doing the things of God. My Mom and siblings worship with The Apostolic Church while I worship with Deeper Life Bible Church because I grew up with my aunty who happens to be a Deeper Lifer.
MY EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
I attended Baptist nursery school in the year 1991 while I was of a tender age located at Leventis port Harcourt Nigeria. In the year 1992 I was admitted into primary school, University Demonstration Primary School (UDPS) where I obtained my first school leaving certificate after my graduation in 1998. I was to seek for admission into University Demonstration Secondary School (UDSS) but due to the fact that I lost my Dad while I was in primary 5 in the year 1997 I couldn't made it due to no one to sponsor me, so I was admitted into a community secondary school in the year 1999 where I obtained my O' level certificate in the year 2005. In 2009 I sat for JAMB, made one of the best scores of 201 to study Electrical and Electronics Engineering which the score above was even more than the cut up point then but I lost that admission due to no sponsorship but I still look forward to further my education in the future.
MY HOBBIES
I love playing and watching football, I love playing Scrabble, Cooking, Listening to gospel songs, I also love attending church meetings and programs, I also love my skills which are Painting and Installation of Wallpapers
LIKES
I like children, I like seeing people celebrating success and I also like seeing people around me been happy and comfortable
DISLIKES
I dislike anyone that tells lies, anyone that chests, anyone that steal, speeding when driving, I dislike seeing people going through horrible things in life, I dislike death etc.
HOW I KNEW ABOUT STEEMIT
I was introduced to STEEMIT by a friend called Clifford James who is an undergraduate in the university of port Harcourt in Rivers State Nigeria @smartcliff. He is a beneficiary of the platform, so he talked me into STEEMIT and encouraged me to register with the platform. Thanks to you all, I'm happy to hear about this platform. I love you all.

At first, we recommend you to continue making Achievement posts in Newcommers community and review this tutorial with the answers for the most important questions. Don’t you worry if for the first few days or even weeks you will be making the mistakes or writing great quality posts without expected income. Give yourself the time for learning all the stuff and being discovered by other users :) Write every day (or almost every day) and you will surely become successful at some point.
Before you will start writing, you have to select the communities where you want to be active. I recommend you to choose those of them that are related to your hobbies and, obviously, not too small. Personaly, I’d select any community with more than 75 users, but it’s your choice. To make it easier, I’m sending the link to the complete list of active communities on Steemit (searcher does not work well, so it’s better to use that list instead)
Finally, I would love to invite you to my own community Steem-Travelers. It’s all about traveling, culture, cuisine from all around the world, traditions et cetera. Plenty of great content to read and comment, plenty of interesting posts that you cound write there as well. We always appreciaate the best quality content, we are putting a lot of attention to the quality of the community announcements, graphics of the community as well as additional programs, like Guide with Travelers where you can offer your services as the local tour guide for some STEEM or Stay with Travelers where you can offer your apartment, room or bed in a shared room to rent for STEEM, a bit ‘Couchsurfing style’.
