Achievement 2: Basic Security on Steemit by @im-rahul

Hello everyone,
I have completed my achievement 1 and now moving to my second task. Today, I will be talking on basic security on steemit. Our steemit account is very precious and need protection from external forces and our keys need protection from being misplaced. Here, I will be answering 5 questions, which are concerned with the security of our steemit account.

Question 1: Have you retrieved all your keys on steemit?
Answer: Yes, I have retrieved all my keys on steemit.

Question 2: Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?
Answer: Yes, I know each of these key functions and restrictions on steemit. There are four keys on steemit which are as follows:

1. Posting Key: The posting key is used to post, comment, vote, edit, resteem and follow other users. These key also allows you to log in your account.

2. Active Key: The active key is used for performing various tasks such as transferring funds, power up transactions, converting Steem Dollars, voting, updating account details, etc.

3. Owner Key: It is most powerful key because it can change any key of an account, including the owner key itself.

4. Memo key: This key is used for encrypting and decrypting memos when transferring funds. if you want to encrypt a memo, you must use pound sign (#) before it.

Question 3: How do you plan to keep your master password?
Answer: Master password is the most important password must be kept safe. I have planned to keep my master password as both offline and online. I have stored my master password on google drive. I would also keep my master password as an offline on hard disk.

Question 4: Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?
Answer: Yes, I know how to transfer steem token to another steem user account. For transferring, you have to follow these steps:

Step 1: Firstly, login to steem.com
Step 2: Go on the "profile" section and then click to the "wallet" option.

Step 3: Click to the "steem token" button (arrowed up)

Step 4: Now, click on the "Transfer" button

Step 5: Enter the username of steem account whom you want to transfer steem token and enter the amount of the token.

step 6: Finally click "next" to transfer the fund.

Question 5: Do you know how to power up your steem?
Answer: Yes, I know how to power up steem. Tp power up, follows these steps:

Step 1: Firstly, login to steem.com
Step 2: Go on the "profile" section and then click to the "wallet" option.

Step 3: Click to the steem token button (arrowed up)

Step 4: Now, click on the "Power Up" button

Step 5: Enter the amount to power up.

Step 6: Finally, hit on to the "Power Up" button.
