Hi all! I'm w iriting to you from sunny Los Angeles in the great US of A. I'm in my early 30's, and would add my name here but have chosen to remain anonymous to protect the sources used in my stories. I recently got into crypto through a friend who works at a media publication for crypto. She sat me down and taught me the history of bitcoin, how it worked, and I was instantly taken - this was a currency backed by an ethos, a conviction - and there's nothing I relate to and admire more than conviction.

A bit about my writing:
Essays based on experiences from anonymous sources told from a first-person perspective about dating and relationships in today’s world of swiping left, swiping right and all of the options and complications that come along with technology. The stories I write are very personal to me because they are experiences being told to me in many different ways through the eyes of very different women. Dating is hard, finding someone to love who loves you seems fucking impossible. This is coming from me, a woman who exudes confidence wherever I go. It is also coming from my friends / their friends / coworkers and their partners. The business is, it’s hard out there for women, when it comes to men. WHY do they always have the upper hand? Every time we feel like we boss up, we realize we are emotionally steps behind. The conclusive tittle of my collection of essays is, “I am not your FUCKING Unicorn” because that’s what women are expected to be. A man is the shit and he gets called the GOAT, a woman a Unicorn. A mythical creature that literally doesn’t exist. I feel passionate about telling these stories, and putting them out into the world or web3, because I know we can all relate. I have heard these frustrations too many times, felt them too many times, to the point where they boiled over onto this screen. If these stories can make you feel anything—laughter, regret when necessary, validation when you never gave it to yourself—or even teach me something by opening up a discussion, I welcome it. I am a little nervous to open these very personal discussions that might make anyone sad or second guess, but am even more excited to gain a better sense of comradery where I feel like we’ve been missing it.

I found Steemit when I was researching platforms to publish content on a blockchain, and was impressed by its user engagement and diverse content. I'm excited to be here, especially to find female empowered content, as well as discover other users and content in the community. I'd love for anyone interested in dating and relationships to read my essays and open up questions or comments to start a discussion. If we don't talk about these topics, we all can't collectively laugh, cry and learn.
