What is a Markdown?

Markdown is a lightweight markup language for creating formatted text using a plain-text editor.

Markdown was created by two UI designers namely John Gruber and Aaron Swartz in 2004 as a markup language attractive to readers in it's code form.

Examples of Markdown

For ones article to look smart, organized and well constructed, applying markdowns is very essential as it beautifies such articles and mark them attractive to human readers. I would talk about a few examples in detail.

Python programming language

python programming language is a high level language used in creating mostly the backend aspect of most applications or software. Python can also be used in wed development as well as other aspect of programming.

Java programming language

Java is an object oriented programming used in the creation of software. It deals with the functionality of such software making them user friendly and accessible.

Difference between Python and Java

Python	Java
python is a dynamic and interpreted language	Java is a statistical and compiled language
Python has a friendly User interface	Java UI is more complicated
python is easy to read and use	Java is faster at runtime and easier to debug

Similarities between python and java

Both languages have strong cross platform support

They both compile to bytecodes

They also can be used in creating apps

They both can be used in web development and data science

In conclusion, Markdown is a very important tool in article writing as they help in marking our work look more appealing to human readers. I am able to say that after this task, I fully understand the concept off markdown and it's application.
