ACHIEVEMENT 2: BASIC SECURITIES ON STEEM BY @KELECHUKWU

Hello community, Greetings dear community, it is my pleasure to be back after having completed my introduction post and was verified. I am glad to move forward to my achievement 2 and that is what I have presented below

basic security can be called as safety, as well as the token taken to be safe or protected in steemit

I have receive all my keys on steemit I did so when I created my accounts using the mater key that was first generated. These keys are

Posting key
Active key
Memo key
Owner key
Master key

My understanding on Security Keys and functions

Active key
master key
Posting key
Owner key
Memo key

Active Key is used for financial operations like, sending funds and updating profile details and placing a market and can not be use to generate other keys or post, vote or comment

Master Key , is used to login and get all other keys. It's secured is so important to access your account such that, a exposing it can allow someone to access your account and withdraw all your tokens . This key is used to find other keys and not used for social and financial in STEAMIT

Posting Key it is used to perform daily activities like, comment on a post, post a write up, vote, mute other accounts or follow people . Its disadvantage include not being used for financial transactions.

Owner Key is used to access your account and change any key of the account, in case someone have access to your account or noticed any suspicious movement in your account

Memo Key is used for increasing and degrading memos when you are transferring funds. Its another level of security.

safe place to keep my master key

I keep a copy in my diary and an offline copy in the Notes app of my phone for easy access, I plan to keep them offline and at a safe place. My phone have security privacy and it is safe.

Transfer token

I logged in to my account I went to my wallet and clicked the drop-down besides it , then I went to my steam balance .The I selected transfer

I put the username of the user I want to transfer to and the amount of steem I want to transfer some token I entered my Memo key to complete my transfer shown in the screenshot

To power up is a place where it has more power and value which comes easily and useful for comments and postings.

To Power up, enter the amount of steam you want to power up through some process in the wallet area. Just follow the guideline
