Hello Friends,
Here I am with my new task on Content Etiquette. Under this task I have to cover what is Plagiarism?

“Plagiarism is the representation of another author's language, thoughts, ideas, or expressions as one's own original work. In educational contexts, there are differing definitions of plagiarism depending on the institution." Wikipedia

In simple words we can say, representing others words or ideas by your name is like stole something from someone. We can also say that this is like a crime. Plagiarism is something which can stop your creativity and make you always dependent on others. So always we have to use our own mind to represent our work to others. Here on steemit we have to write blogs and create contents for this site, so we have to follow the rules of blogging and avoiding such things. If you have to use Content which is not yours, provide source from where you used it.

Lets understand it by Example;-

You may use another person's words, ideas, or information, but to do so without acknowledgment is plagiarism. Perhaps the most serious form of plagiarism is failure to acknowledge the source of a direct quotation or paraphrase. Whether accidental or deliberate, failure to acknowledge that you have borrowed another's language, ideas, or information constitutes plagiarism.
This is a definition of plagiarism according to a website name Bowdoin.edu, for showing this content we have to use markdown code for this.
