My favourite dish
This is none other than spaghetti which is a type of pasta. It is a food I like so much that i could probably eat it 4 out of 7 days. It is prepared using the boiling and stir-frying method and is ready in less than 30 mins.
It is said that one of the best ways to a man's heart is certainly his stomach and obviously I am not exempted and neither are you.
Ingredients
These ingredients are likely per 5 servings and include:
- Pasta - One packet
- Tomato paste - a satchet
- Onion - a ball would do
- Ginger, garlic and tumeric - This is to taste according to how spicy you love your food but i use a very tiny piece of each
- Vegetable oil
- Salt and seasoning cubes - salt to taste and 1 seasoning cube
- Spices: This depends on choice but i use Gino curry spice
- Carrot and green beans

Remember that vegetable oil is part of the cooking ingredients and any one of your choice can serve. I definitely prefer one with less trans-fat.
My preferred veggies: carrot and green beans
Directions
- Firstly you boil some water and put in the spaghetti without breaking it to maintain its long strands
- After parboiling, sieve the spaghetti and keep aside.
- Peel the onions, ginger, garlic and tumeric. Then wash. Slice the onion into tiny bits and keep aside.
- Pound or grind the pepper, ginger, garlic, tumeric and a tiny bit of crayfish.
- Also cut the veggies into tiny cubes and stir-fry in a pan to prevent it from being too soft
- Place an empty pot on fire and put in some drops of oil. Once it heats, put in the sliced onion and stir until translucent. Add tomato and stir for about 5 minutes.
- Add other grinded ingredients. Add curry spice and little water. Do not allow it to burn
- Add in the parboiled spaghetti bits by bits and stir-fry. Add in salt and seasoning cubes to taste.
- You can now bring down the food from the fire and add the stir-fried veggies while turning it until it blends perfectly with the food.
- You can now enjoy your meal with a chilled cup of zobo or any of your favourite drink.
