I have completed my second achievement and today I am working on my third achievement which is:

Content Etiquette: PLAGIARISM

So first of all we need to know what Plagiarism actually is:
We can define Plagiarism as representing other persons work which may be in any form like the persons words,language,image,thoughts etc as thier own without the acknowledgement of the real owner or without providing the actual source of it.

In Simple words we can say that copying somebodys work and proving it to be yours without the owners acknowledgement or providing the source is known as Plagiarism

As now we know what Plagiarism actually is , we now need to see the different forms of Plagiarism

1. Direct Plagiarism:
Direct Plagiarism is word -for-word transcription of a section of someone else's work without quotation marks or attribution. This plagiarism of someone else's work is academically dishonest and unecthical and is considered to be wrong.

2. Mosaic Plagiarism:
Mosaic Plagiarism is when a student borrows phrases from a source without using quotation marks while keeping to the same general language structure and meaning as found in the original one.

3. Self Plagiarism:
Self Plagiarism is when you reuse your old work again and presenting as its brand new. which creates the confusion for the audience..

4. Accidental Plagiarism
Accidental Plagiarism is when the person neglects to cite the work source or misquotes about thier sources or phrases a sources by using similar sentences or words without the acknowledgement or atribution..

Thus now we are familiar with Plagiarism and its diiferent types, Now we must learn how to avoid or Stop Plagiarism

As we all know Plagiarism is bad and a wrong way, We should avoid plagaiarism. so in order to avoid plagiarism we can follow the steps below:

1. Always ensure that Plagiarism isnt being carried out in your work just by using a tool that checks hether outside source are properly quoted or not.

2. Always cite the sources from where you take the information or anything.Do provide it link or location..

3.Always properly Paraphase and properly quote the information that is being used in work from outside..

4.Last but not the least Always try to add your own ideas and content to avoid Plagiarism

As a result after being familiar with all this information we can hopefully maintian the Content Etiquette Envioronment On Steemit Platform
