Assalamu Alaikum Steemians, I hope all of you are well, I am also fine by the grace of almighty Creator.
Already I have completed my achievement 1 as well as achievement 2. Best wishes and congratulations to those who have supported me through votes and comments. And specially thanks to respected Moderators who approved my post and helped me as much as possible.
Now I am going to share my Achievement 3 post with great pleasure. The subject-matter of this post is Plagiarism.
now I will try my best to share some important information about Plagiarism.

The origin of the word plagiarism ..

The term plagiarism has been originated from the latin word Plagiare literally it means kidnaping or abducting someone , it gradually came to mean to pass off, someone else`s work as own in part or whole.

Definition of Plagiarism:-

The process or practice of using another person's ideas or work and pretending that it is your own.

The practice of taking someone else's work or ideas and passing them off as one's own.

Definition made depend on my own conscience and knowledge:-

Presenting the idea, work or writing of others, as one`s own, without his permission is called Plagiarism.

Critical analysis on Plagiarism:-

(a) If we do not provide source or citation of other`s work or article that shall be considered as plagiarism.
(b) Something which is exactly copied but source and citation has been provided is one kind of plagiarism. So we have to memorized the information properly and have to write in free hand (own word) to avoid plagiarism.

Types of Plagiarism:-

There are many kinds of plagiarism, most common and important of them are described below.

(1) Direct Plagiarism:-

It is one kinds of common plagiarism that involves copying an article or any part of it or a book or any part of it to the point means duplicate word by word without any citation or quotation.
This is seen as a serious violation of institutional rules and one may demand sever punishment for it.

(2) Self or Auto Plagiarism:-

If any person makes the multiple submission of any materials (article, book etc) violating any institutional rule shall be considered as self plagiarism. Multiple submission shall not be considered as plagiarism until it is viewed as academic misbehavior.
For example, if a student submit the same assignment to different teachers, it is considered as plagiarism unless the previous teacher allow it.

(3) Mosaic Plagiarism:-

It is most common types of plagiarism where the whole sentence is not duplicated rather the phrase (part of the sentence) is copied and their synonyms are used but the sentence structure and the meaning is the same here.
It is also immoral one.

(4) Accidental Plagiarism;-

If one neglects to cite, misquotes or forgetfully rephrases a source other than giving due credit is called accidental plagiarism. Although it is accidental, it is considered as plagiarism.

Ways to avoid Plagiarism:-

(a) At first we have to realize a topic then have to write in own words.
(b) We have to provide the proper citation or quotation the of the materials.
(c) If the multiple submission is needed, we have to maintain the institutional policy.
(d) We have to valuate the proper author.
(e) We have to provide the accurate reference.
(f) Though it is an offence involving moral turpitude so we should sincerely promising our-self that, in no way we will involve in any kinds of plagiarism.
