Steemscan is a web application that provides Steemian with a real time update on Steem price and other activities on the steemit blockchain. Steemscan also has an easy to use Steem conversion service which at the moment it has the capability of converting Steem to USDT, BTC or TRX. Credit for designing steemscan.com goes to @futureshock.

What is the current Steem price today
As indicated by this graph provides by the steemscan app. In the cryptocurrency market today being Monday May 24 2022. One Steem translates to $0.27

What is the volume of steem traded

Going by today's statistics provided by Steemscan.com, there is a total volume of 406,052,616 STEEM which translates to 11,306,778 SBD available for trading.

What do we have under Latest transactions

In steemscan.com the Latest transactions tab shows activities currently taking place on the Steemit Blockchain. Activities such as:
• Transfers and delegations
• Comments and Curation Rewards
• Up votes and Down Voting,

This information is arranged under fields like Block ID, ID, Time Stamp, Sender, Receiver, Type and Amount as shown below.

What do we have under the latest blocks section
We have ID and block transaction of all the new Steem that is being produced in the Steemit Blockchain at this moment.

The information shown under the Witnesses menu*
To help further decentralize the steemit platform, more servers are needed an those who offer to host some fragments of the steemit infrastructure are known as witness.
The witness menu provides the witness' name, rank and status. The witness will place a Price feed, and also take part in some decision making. Witnesses are voted in by Steemian. And every Steemian has 30 votes to cast on witneces. is

How do we vote for a Witness?
A collective vote will help select any active Steemian who has the necessary computing power in to the position of a witness.

To place a vote on a witness, I will use @steemchiller for my example.

• Select vote at the far right of @steemchiller

• Select the continue button

• login with username and posting
  

• Enter username and Active key
  

• Confirm the transaction

• Once you enter your active key, your vote is counted.

What are DApps
DApps are decentralized applications that provides some services to the Steemit platform.

Which 3 DApps have I already used or may use in future
~ Steemscan: l have used the Steemscan to confirm by find the price of Steem.
~ Steemworld: two days ago I used Steemworld to see what will result if I vote a person with 100% of my voting whight.
~ Dtube: I have have used Dtube to host videos.

How to use "Quick Convert" feature*
We use the Quick Convert function to convert from Steem to USDT, BTC or TRX
• Go to the menu
• Select Quick Convert

• Enter the amount in steem

• Select the currency to convert to
