Achievement 1 - My Verification Post: @mdominicorobin / Luzon

     Hello Steemians. I am Rommel Dominguez. My chronological age is 45. Sired at the most beautiful country in the world, the Philippines. I discovered Steemit by accident almost 7 years ago and I enjoyed creating memories with this unique blogging platform as evidenced by my activities for more than two years. I deeply regret my decision to leave this all behind to attend to other important personal matters. I was on hiatus technically but if there is one thing that I have discovered, I love the idea that I can recover my lost glory by making another swing for the fences. This time the Steemit Community will be guiding my journey towards a better writing spectacle. I must admit that I have not modified my password for the past 7 years yet I was able to recover my account which is a testament to the fact that your Steemit account is secured as long as you remember all the precautions. Which is why I prefer proof of brain networks more than the centralized ones.

     Now everything has changed or so I thought. After resurfacing I managed to take everything into consideration that if I commit all of my remaining life with the Steemit Community then maybe I might be able to get the best out of it in a most positive way possible. I really love expressing myself and I have a lot of ideas to try as I embark on spicing up our Steemit experience. I am an old dog trying to learn new tricks but I am really willing to learn. The next seven years is up for grabs and even seven years after that I think we can synergistically make the most out of this proof of brain network.

     Please reconsider my works and pieces for I really wanted to thrive in this industry. I will never beg for your support but if I offended certain entities and individuals in the past, I sincerely apologize for I am indeed guilty. I am proud of who I am but I am also receptive to constructive innovations and concepts at the same time.

Everything Is A Scam Until Steemit Came Into The Blogging Scene

     I tried everything. I mean everything. I was so desperate to earn a living that I came across dozens upon dozens of online earning scam since 1997. Paid to surf to is the most lucrative scam of the moment but atleast I earned a couple of EGOLD which is decent enough. But everything was destroyed when one payment processor allegedly sabotaged the whole industry which is now what we call as STORMPAY. Everything was ruined and I lost faith in online earning.

Bitcoin Introduced Me To Steemit

     The Bitcoin revolution started in 2009 but my fascination with decentralization started a year after. I will see myself inside a public internet cafe collecting SATS from wide array of faucets which were present back then. Yes, there was a time when Bitcoin is being given for free. It was minute amount of Bitcoin I will spend hours collecting Bitcoin SATS up until 2014. By the stroke of luck most of my present day "monies" came from Bitcoin faucets and cold storage wallets. I remember being late in the game in 2017 when I was so busy with Steemit that I almost forgot about my secret stash. My mother was in need of cash but Steemit is my first option when it comes as second nature and I almost declined to lend her some help although I have stacks of STEEM and SBD back then. But then again I remembered about my Bitcoin secret stash so I contructed a thought experiment as to how I can convert my SATS into Philippine Peso from hundreds of cold storage wallets that I have at my disposal. And voila blockchain dot com and Green Address accepts sweeping WIF's so the most difficult task became a very seamless task. I cannot forget the look at my mom's face. As if she is asking where did I get this. I half jokingly stated that my Steemit account is legit and STEEMS are 100% legit. Although two years later I had no choice but to power down. I really hated doing it up until today. I will not have trusted registering for a Steemit account if not for Bitcoin being a trustworthy venture. That is why I trust them both until the day I die.

Earning Commenting And Resteeming

     The Steemit @jesta account was incentivising the creation of comments during the infancy stages of the same. I am earning a couple of cents just by commenting and automatically it will be upvoted. This is unique back then which is why my first sets of STEEM earnings came from this web application. Thanks a lot for the tokens.

Reaching ATH

     I was trembling for a couple of minutes when Steem reached 8 USD which was six years ago. My Steem powers worth reached almost 2000 USD. In the Philippines that is a lot of money for an unknown blogger. I was unknown but my account is worth thousands.

About Placebo

     My very first blog post was about Placebo. Those were the days when I was resorting to upvote for upvote exchange in the de facto chat room of the Steemit network back then. Thinking back induces so much embarassment that sometimes I regret the practice but we had no choice as we were so desperate to get upvotes.

The @cheetah Account

     This Steemit account is the most active as it seeks to automatically point out to the author of the blog that he or she just plagiarized another exposition or blog which already exist before the poster decided to resort to copypasta practice. This account will put you in your proper place if you are copypasta entities.

Being Seen By Curators

     The tutorial post about Linux was my very first break in this blogging network. It made me think that I am invincible that I can create more valuable post that can change people whom are perusing from time to time. I was also hit in the head so hard for the responsibility that is associated with success is as deal as it gets.

Smartphone Mining Tutorials

     I have created more than a handful of blog posts which focuses more on mining alternative coins. My goal during those early days of my fearless expeditions are a testament to the fact that I want to know more about proof of work coins. I almost tried running a Witness node but sad to say I still have a long way to go before I get my chance.

Area Of Work And Study

     Right now I am focusing more on trading and mentoring. I reserve my focus on automation and computing. This is where I might find some of my inspirations when it comes to creating new expostions for our beloved Steemians.

Experience With Crypto

     I have fourteen years of experience with regard to cryptocurrencies. It is 100% legit. The technology itself is not a scam as I have mentioned above I also have a series about mining crypto.

My Hobby, Passion And Dislike

     I like Karaoke nights. Everything about the world of old world music or even old school music is simply spectacular. This is also my passion. Sometimes if I have time I would even do amateur treatment visual content for video platforms about my Karaoke experience.

What Sort Of Post Written By Others Are You Looking For

     I am looking for technology related and oriented stuff. I have been doing that even before the hard fork. Post from newbies are so close to my heart.

What Sort Of Post Will I Be Creating

     I am biased towards personal stories that only I could narrate in proper context. Tutorial oriented content is what I will bring to the Steemit table so to speak. It will be so detailed that anyone who will have time to read will say that this is only platform where they have the content or blog post. Special commentaries will also be a part of my regular content along with unique reviews and story dissections. I could discuss almost anything and everything under the sun. So, stay tuned for more quality post.

How I Found Steemit And What I Hope To Accomplish

     As I have mentioned above I happen to stumble upon Steemit in the middle of August 2017. I was looking for ways to earn online and there I saw it. Ignored it for a while but the pull was already there. I waited for a week to get my registration approved. I thought that my registration was lost in translation but by the help of Divine Providence they approved my registration and receive my first taste key based system. Anyways, I seek to accomplish what other newbies have not accomplish which is to prove that I still have what it takes to create and maintain good content. And I will never surrender. FIN.
