Hello to everyone in this community and in this wonderful platform. I want to trust that we are doing well today and having a good time.

I am glad that my first achievement have been verified,so i am here for my achievement 2 task complement on "basic security on steem".
Please do read through carefully

QUESTION 1: Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?

Yes, I have retrieved all my steemit keys, immediately I signed up, it was sent to my mail as a PDF file which I downloaded and had it saved.

QUESTION 2: Do you know each of these keys functions and restrictions?

Yes I do know all the keys functions and restrictions. Below I would explain them;

1. POSTING KEY
This key enables the user to login to their steemit accounts and perform actions such as posting and editing posts, commenting on posts and voting. It also enables one to resteem, follow or mute other accounts. This posting key are usually unique to specific users accounts and difficult to be easily compromised unlike using regular passwords.

2. ACTIVE KEY
Active key is so important because they are used for monetary and wallet actions. It can be used for performing activities like powering up and powering down steem transactions, converting stem dollars, updating profile details and avatar, voting for a witness and also placing a market order.

3.OWNER KEY
This is the key that is used when recovering a compromised steemit account, it is used to reset all other keys including the owner key. It is highly recommended to be kept saved offline all the time without a third party having access to it. It is only meant to be used when necessary.

4.MEMO KEY
Memo key is used to for encrypting and decrypting memos when making a transfer. It is essential key

QUESTION 3: How do you plan on keeping your master password?

I have the PDF form of my master password saved on my email, and in cloud specifically Google drive, also I had it drafted in my diary which only me can access in case the PDF file get lost.

QUESTION 4: Do you know how to transfer your Steem token to another Steem user account?

Yes I do know how to transfer my steem token to another Steem user. I would explain in the few steps below

STEP 1: Go to your wallet,then you click on steem and select transfer, which will take you to the transfer page

STEP 2: On the transfer page, click to add the name of the user you Want to transfer steem to and also add in the amount of steem to be sent and then click next.

STEP 3: This will open another page where you input your memo key and then click OK.
Your Steem will immediately be transferred to the desired account.

QUESTION 5: Do you know how to power up your steem token?

Yes I do,below I'd explain how to power up my steem token with additional pictorial tutorials.

STEP 1: Go to your wallet and then click on steem, select power up

STEP 2: A page will open where you will convert your steem to steem power, after which you will click on power up

STEP 3: Another page will open where you will insert your memo key and then click OK.

Following this steps you will automatically power up your steem token as seen I the image below.
