Hello, all steemians people. I hope All are you good and healthy. I have already completed my achievement 1 task in the steemit community and today I am doing my second task which emphasizes basic security. steemit is a decentralized website.
I will be answering a few questions and I will include a tutorial too.
Question 1: Have you retrieved all your keys from steemit?
Answer:-
yes I have many option for retrieved my steemit key:
1.
I have backup of it from google drive.2.
I am stored it in our laptop as well as phone chip.3.</ h2> I am also note my steemit key in my important dairy.
Question 2: Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?
Answer:-
All keys have different tasks which are deeply described below:
1. Posting key:-
It is used to log in to an account to create a post, comment, vote up, and for several other tasks.
2.Active Key:-
It is used for transfer funds, power up and down of account reputation, and converts steam dollar into cryptocurrency.
2.Private Owner Key:-
It is used for an emergency because it replaces active and posting keys to access your account.
2.Memo Key:-
This key is very essential to retrieve our funds and use it to transfer funds in Binance, Bittrex.
Question 3: How do you plan to keep your master password ?
Answer:-
I have stored it as a pdf file and uploaded it to online cloud services(one drive, google drive)which is very secure anyone doesn't steal it because it is used in place of all other keys to transfer funds, create a post, and able to do work of all other keys.
Question 4: Do you know how we transfer our steem token to another steem token account?
Answer:-
Click on the top right side of your account. First, you go to your wallet(Blue box).
Then click the figure under steem, which shows how many steem tokens are present in the account.
A list of options appears to click on the transfer
After you click it to box will appear as shown below and then type in the name of the users you are transferring to. For this, You will be required to use a key to confirm and transaction, and that will be your activation key.
Question 5: Do you know how to power up your steem?
Answer:
Yes, I have already done it. First, open your wallet section then click on your steem.
In this list click on the power-up
A box will appear after then you input the amount of steam that you want to power up. Then click on the powerup option and your steem will power up.
