I have already completed my first Achievement. Today I am going to complete Achievement 2, Basic Security on Steem.
So, Let get started about Security on STEEM by answering step by step.
➡️Question-1:Have you retrieved all your keys on steemit?
Yes,I have safely retrieved all my keys on steemit. Becouse keys are very important. I've also saved them on my own google drive and printed the pdf for backup.
➡️Questin-2: Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?
Yes,I've learned each of these key functions and restrictions from my steemian friends and also from the posts of many communities. There are four important keys are available in steemit function and each of them has its own and unique functions.I am describing these key in below:
👉Posting Key:
Posting key is used to login steemit.com .It is very importat for making post,comments,vote up or down and also edit them.An active user use this private posting key every day.
👉Memo Key:
When we need to transfer funds then memo key is used for decrypting memos.we should keep the memo key in secret.So, we use this / # sign to keep it secret.
👉Active Key:
The another important key in steemit is active key.It is used for monetary and wallet related actions.when we need to transactions we have to use it.
👉Owner key:
When we neet to reset all the other keys then we have to use the owner key. We should kerp it offline at all times.
➡️Question-3:How do you plan to keep your master password?
Master password key is the only way to derive all the other keys.so,
I've saved my master password both online and offline.I think nobody should lose this password.
➡️Question-4:Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?
Yes,I know that how to transfer steem token to another steem user account . By using the active key I can transfer my steem tokens to another steem user account.
➡️Question-5: Do you know how to power up your STEEM?
Yes, I know how to power up Steem. Go to wallet, select Steem pop up menu and select power up and transfer.
