Greetings Steemit community. I come with achievement 4 task and will be talking about the topic conservation of Natural Resources thanks to everyone that make up this beautiful community.

Conservation of Natural Resources

This means the existing use of natural resources in sequence to make their interrupted use and to preserve the original nature of the environment. It is the proper maintenance, management and benefit of natural resources to man.

Types of Natural resources

RENEWABLE	NON RENEWABLE
which include	which include
water,air,food	Petroleum
Forest, Soil.	Coal,gas
Animal.	tin, limestone.

Method of forest conservation

By Afforestation method and Felling of only mature trees .

Method of water conservation

By irrigation, building of dams and reservoirs and effective control of water pollution.

Method of conserving wild life

Establishment of forest reserve and zoological garden, restrict hunting and legislation of laws to govern wild life.

Benefit of conservation

1.Forest conservation

It Encourages rainfall.
it helps to protect soil fertility.
It helps checks erosion.
It helps protect timber.
It checks desert encroachment.

2.Soil conservation

it help to provide raw material for industries
It serves as a medium for plant growth.
it also supply nutrients to plants.
it promote soil fertility.

3.Wild life conservation

It serves as tourism and recreation centre.
it serves as source of protein (meat)

4.Water conservation

Serves as a source for generating electricity.
it provides water for domestic use.
it provides water for farming and irrigation.
it provides food and protein.

5.Mineral Resources conservation

It serves for foreign exchange reserve.
Supply raw material for industries.
serves as a source of energy.

Problems Encountered in conservation

Mostly financial problems and lack of public awareness, overgrazing, problem of bush burning it is so alarming, lastly inadequate provision of land .

Effort Made by Government Towards Encouraging Conservation

Establishment of zoological garden, making of conservation laws. Establishment of games and forest reserves and establishment of conservation agencies.
