What is Plagiarism

Plagiarism means stealing another work or using another ideas without giving credit. Plagiarism means to present someone's else texts as your own. If you use another persons work or ideas without there acknowledgement then it will considered as plagiarism. If you take some passage texts from someone else article without naming any source or credit then it is a plagiarism. In One Word Plagiarism is an act of fraud. It Involves both stealing someone's else's work and lying about it. Plagiarism in not only some specific genre or anything else but it is international.
Some Of The Different Types Of Plagiarism
There are different types of plagiarism and they are very much violating. I am going to define the most important plagiarism that shouldn't use steemit and any other platform.
1. Direct Plagiarism
Direct Plagiarism means if anyone translate or transcribe word by word of a section from some else's content, & without any attribution credits or quotation. Direct Plagiarism also means that if anyone copying word by word then it is direct plagiarism. It is violent and anyone shouldn't done this.
2. Mosaic Plagiarism
Mosaic Plagiarism means if you didn't copying the word but mixing the word without any quotation ones own and someone else's ideas and opinions basically if you borrow a group of work or various form of information are copied from different source without making any reference to the original source of those information's. It is punishable $ dishonest academically.
3. Global Plagiarism
It means If you talking about the entire work of another persons but representing as your own personal work it is like impressions. Juts like if you talking about someone else's great work without taking his/her name or referencing the people behind it then it doesn't mean that it is your work it is also violent and from of plagiarism.
4. Self Plagiarism
Self Plagiarism it is actually means you are producing same ideas or paragraph in another work. If you submit your previous work in another project then this is act of plagiarism and it is also punishable. Most people just don't get it like they think this is there own work and they can submit it in another but this is actually plagiarism.
5. Accidental Plagiarism
It is actually unintentionally copying another work of ideas. Or If you Using some one else's ideas without giving him credits and citing the actual source. Everybody should research about it. Even if you do this kind of form plagiarism in unknowingly it is also punishable. It is the serious issue in all plagiarism form we should be aware of this.

4 steps to avoid plagiarism:
I. Keep the track of that sources which you consult in your research.
II. Paraphrase from your sources & add your own ideas.
III. Credit the original creator with proper citations & reference list.
IV. Before submissions must use a plagiarism checker.
