Achievement 2;Basic security on Steem

I am happy to be verified in achievement 1 and now proceeding in achievement 2 which is Basic security on Steem. Security is very important to be safe in this wonderful platform and to avoid problem in our account.

QUESTION 1;
Have you retrieved all your keys on steemit?

Yes. I have retrieved all my steemit keys in safe zone. I know these keys are very very important. I've also save these in my messenger,email and Write all the information in my personal notebook for safety.

Question 2;
Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?

Yes. I know, there are different keys with different functions and every user should be aware of these functions. I will try to explain every key with its functions and restrictions below.

POSTING KEY

Posting key is very important. You have to login in steemit.com by using this posting key. If you login in steemit.com by using this posting key then you can make post, comments, vote up or down and also edit them. An active user can use this posting key everyday.

MEMO KEY

Memo key is used for encrypting and decrypting memos. When any user transfer funds,this key is used to encrypt memo and it is done by adding # sign before the message.

*ACTIVE KEY *

Active key is also very important key and it is used to transfer funds,convert Steem dollars,power up or down and placing any market order.It should also be given importance and should be saved by the users online and offline.

OWNER KEY

Owner key is considered to be more important than any other key and it should be saved offline. It is very powerful key and it should be used when necessary. It can be used to change any other key including Owner key. So, it is very important key and should be saved offline to avoid any mishap.

MASTER KEY

Master key is very important and it is used to generate all other keys including Owner key.Master key or Master Password is used to generate account while making account for the first time. It should be kept safe and it is used in the process of recovery of an account.

QUESTION 3;
How do you plan to keep your master password?

Master password is very important I intend to save it offline and online. Because this key is the only way to derive all the other keys. I saved it in my email,messenger,and in my personal notebook. Nobody should lose this password.

Question 4;
Do you know how to transfer your Steem token to another Steem user account?

Yes I know step 1;
Login to steemit account using my Private active key, and click on Wallet.
Step 2;
Then I have click on the small arrow beside the Steem dollar balnce and then select transfer.

Step 3;
After that I have fill up the details of the receivers username,amount to be transferred & memo. Then by clicking the next button the process will be completed.

Question 5
Do you know how to Power Up your STEEM?

Yes, I have learned the process. Powering Up means Converting Steem to SP.Powering UP process are her; Have to login using private key.Then I have to click on the Power Up button near Steem option.
