Hello everyone I am Nitin Sahu once again writing my 3rd achievement post .before starting my I wanna say special thanks @ashkhan for the instruction in my last post.
Now lets start our task: so for this achievement post I have to explain plagiarism .
What is Plagiarism?:
Basically Plagiarism is pretend be someone else or we can say that writing or copying someone else's work and and acting like its your own. And which is ethically wrong we should not do these things. But this thing exist in our life
so there so many types of plagiarism :
some of them are:
1.Mosaic/patchwork plagiarism:
In this type of plagiarism someone mixes his/her work with someone others work without mentioning them, without proper citation. This can be avoided that using proper citation and adding reference to use others work in your work.
2. Paraphrasing or incremental plagiarism:
This type of plagiarism means you are not copying phrases but the idea means you are copying the idea. And using their idea for your purpose without even mentioning them or quoting them .
3.Complete Plagiarism:
In this we copy everything as it is means without using our own brain we copy things from somewhere and paste it to our workplace and without adding our lines . This is like in exam hall roll number 10th and 11th student marksheet is like mirror copy.
4. Self / auto plagiarism :
This is when a person uses same thing at two or more different places.
5. Accidental plagiarism:
In this the writer's intention were not wrong but somehow he/her forgot and missed the citation or cites wrong person or link rather than original one .
6. Source-based plagiarism:
its like knowing everything but acting like you know nothing . let me explain in thing if a person writing something and he knows the sources of all but he didn't cites them or he cites a wrong source which even does not exist.
conclusion:
so these are my findings about plagiarism and there are many resources are available that tell organization that these things are plagiarism or not.so in my point plagiarism is wrong whether it is intentionally or not but we should avoid that.
Citation:
citations should not simply quoted with "" but shold also have a specific reference from where you have referred it.
For Example :like this "If you steal from one author it's plagiarism; if you steal from many it's research."source.
