Achievement 2 \basic security in steemit

Hi steamians, I am very happy for writing my achievement two on the steemit basic security keys. These are the most important keys every individual must have as private. Since these keys are your security and which allow you to be to post, get access to your wallet and retrieval of other passwords or keys. These keys are the most important to all users in steemit. I would want to elaborate more on how to get and keep your keys safe to be able to log onto your steemit account.

Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?

Yes I did, as this was explain to me by my friend. As this was to keep your account safe and secure. I downloaded the offline copy onto my phone and laptop. These keys are long and will be so difficult to memorize and remember easily. So to be on the safer side is to save your keys on cloud like your google drive.

Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?

Yes I do.
Posting key as one of the keys which allow steemit users to post their content, vote, resteem, comment on posts, edit posts, mute and follow other users. Users on steemit use this key to post their contents to their various communities.
Private active key as another important key to users on steemit. This key controls transaction, trades or exploration on your settings
Private memo key is the key used for private chatting between steemit users.
Owner key is the key that can permit you to change other keys. Without this keys restrict your accounts operations.
Master key this is where all others keys can be gotten. With the master key you can back-up or retrieve all the private keys of your account.
Where do you use these keys?
Private posting key this is the key every new member use to log onto their account at first time for posting and accessing the various communities in steemit. This image below shows a new user logging onto his account. He opens the browser and type steemit login and the links to the web page/form displays to the user. And he then enter his name and use the private posting key as the password to log onto the account

Private active key this is for wallet actions. This key is use to log onto your wallet. Logging onto my wallet at first/procedures, tap/click on the profile, tap on wallet, tap on the title on top (steemit wallet) and enter your user name and the private key as your password as shown below.

Since you are now logged onto your wallet, there is a drop down containing transfer, transfer to savings, power up, trade and market as displayed in the image bellow. This is where you can do the transfer of steem, converting of SBDs to steem and powering up your steem.

How do you power up?
Click on the power up and the amount you want to power up. Enter your active private key and click power up button.

This is how far I have learnt the keys and where to use them as a steemit user.
