I hope you are doing well and prosper on the Steemit platform. I am happy that the achievement tasks validation is going faster than I thought. It is pleasure to present the second task of my fifth achievement of the newcomer guide. The present task will highlight the basic features of Steemscan in addition to all basic understanding of the tool as it interacts with Steem. I am grateful to the team in Steemit communities that assure the smooth process of controlling and validating of many entries.

I have barely used “Steemscan” since I was on Steemit. However, I will attempt to explore this tool with an explanation of its features.

* Please explain the current Steem price and volumes on the date of submission of this review?

On the daily chart, the graph shows that the current price of Steem to dollar is $0.22 USD. It means that one Steem is equivalent to $ 0.22 USD on the market this April 26, 2023. The latest supply of Steem per USD is valued at around 0.22 with a supply of 432,544,406 STEEM / 12,116,096 SBD which changes every minute. The Volume of steem traded over the last 24 hours demonstrates a consolidation just above the mark of $4500 USD in the crypto market.

Please explain What all information is shown under the latest transactions and latest blocks section?

It looks very busy in that section of the screen. I will try to explain the latest transaction tab. It compiles the current activities of Steemians on the Steem blockchain. To be more precise we have under the type column the definitions of each transactions in real time such as vote, reblog, clam reward balance, and comments. On the line of column title, we can gather important information such as ID, Sender, Receiver, Type, and lastly Amount/%/payload. This gives us an overview of all transactions that are being carried out by Steemians in Steemit as soon as it is confirm on the Blockchain.

On the other hand, the latest blocks in @steemscan show the ID relating to the block transaction validated on the Steem blockchain and the miner involve in the block confirmation.

* Please explain What all information is shown under the Witnesses section and steps to vote a Witness?

Steem users that have the skill to run and maintain a server that operates a program with the only purpose of valid block on the Steem block chain are called Witness. The Steem witnesses contribute to the proper and secure functioning of the blockchain. Each second or minutes, different blocks are created as users on the platform keep generating transactions that must get confirmed by witnesses. The witnesses always identify the current prices of Steem and their creators. I vote for witnesses by clicking on witnesses and a variety of options like Rank, Active, status, and version will come up. After the screen appears and to activate the witness I click and vote for the witness example, @steemchiller. Votes are made by clicking on the votes button.

* Please explain What is DApps and mention 3 DApps that you have already used or may use in the future as per your interest?

Dapp's section on steemscan is offering a list carefully build for Steem extension apps. These apps help Steem users to know about the availability of tools in the Steem ecosystem. The apps are categorized and a short description is placed next to each program as well as the authors. DApps can appear as gaming or social, also finance apps. Their main purpose is to ease the search for interesting apps on the Steem platform. I am a great fan of @steemworld.org which I use daily to complete specific transactions on the Steem blockchain.

* Please explain How to use "Quick Convert" and what is the fee charged for different Steem amounts for withdrawal?

It arrives the time to convert your earning to other cryptocurrencies. Quick convert is the place to visit for all our conversion to USDT, BTC, and TRNX. There are also options for trading, withdrawal, or sale of tokens. The process to convert your Steem is straightforward. It is important to follow the instruction on your screen. It is worth noting that fees are present when we engage in withdrawal. The fee did not appear on the screen once I entered the parameters. I guess there was an issue somewhere.
After entering the receiver address it will ask for my active key to confirm the transaction in order to send the request.
I have checked and found for 20 Steem the fee was minimal 1% of the total convert.

* Please explain what information is provided by the "Search" feature?

The search feature gives the information as presented in the picture below. After inserting the information required for search Blocks, Transactions, Account, and Witnesses the result returns the located information on the Steemit blockchain. To have any information, we need to type it and and it will appear. In the case of finding activities related to my account I selected account and typed my username once I click on search the result was as follows in the picture below.

Thank you for this opportunity to share my understanding of the basic utilization of tools in the Steem ecosystem to acquire relevant information from the blockchain data. I will be reading and sharing more information with the member of the community because we always have something to learn from other bloggers' experiences.

I would like to mention that my fifth achievement task 1 was validated a few days ago. I hope my verification for the achievement of N.5 task 2 will arrive soon.
