Achievement 1, My Intro Post by @Oliviaphos

Hello Everyone 😁

My name is Olivia and I am 21 years old. I live in a small but densely packed community right on the outskirts of Bucharest, Romania popularly called Militari. My friend @harryel introduced me to this platform, and I've been so nervous about being a newbie and posting here. However, I finally decided to take the plunge and I'm so excited that this is my first post.

So, about me, first off, I'm not Romanian.
I know it seems like a huge shocker especially cause Romania is on my profile but I'm Nigerian. I am from Cross River State but was born and raised in the capital Abuja.

I came to Romania for the second time in the winter of 2016 and I've been here ever since (And no it's not a typo, you read correctly this is my second time in the country, there was a first time but those details are going to be in another post😉)
I started with a preparatory course before moving on to medical school. However, I've decided to take a break from it all this year and take a gap year. It was a hard decision to make but well financial constraints mixed with a dwindling passion for medicine forced my hand and I had no other choice.

However, this is not going to turn into a long-winded sob story so instead let me tell you about what I love to do for fun.

Dancing. Now when I say dancing, I'm not talking Elegant ballroom, So You Think You Can Dance, stage-ready dancing. I'm talking 2 pm, random afro beats, Brownian motion kind of dancing.
I also love love love reading books and listening to music but for two very different reasons. One helps me escape while the other grounds me to reality.
Ahhh yes and most importantly I love to talk and that translates into my writing too, I guess😅. Given the right opportunity, I could easily talk your ear off but trust me when I say you'd not be bored, like how it is when you meet up with your childhood best friend.

Now for my relationship with crypto well, it's bittersweet. I enjoy the theory but tend to shy away from practical trading and investing although I have dabbled once or twice.

As for what you can expect from me on Steemit honestly, a little bit of everything because I just tend to write what I feel. I'll put out things that'll motivate and inspire on some days and on others things to make you laugh or cry.

All in all! I'm glad I took the plunge. I look forward to being on the platform
