I am making this post to show that I have studied the achievement 3 lesson and I want to explain what plagiaraism is and How to make proper attributions. So to begin, let me talk a little about plagiarism.

What is plagiarism?

When people create content in form of books and other printed material, they own exclusive copyright to it. Nobody can use information in that published material without oral or written consent of the author. But if somebody decide to use the material in a book with properly stating the source of his content, then that is a form of stealing. That is plagiarism.

Plagiarsm happens when an author copies content from another persons work like text, picture or video and uses the content as if it were his own without properly attributing it to the creator. This kind of thing is generally frowned upon on Steemit and I will avoid it. I need to create original content or put sources to any copied content I will use.

It is subject to sanctions such as penalties, suspension, expulsion from school[3] or work,[4] substantial fines[5][6] and even incarceration.[7][8] Recently, cases of "extreme plagiarism" have been identified in academia.[9] The modern concept of plagiarism as immoral and originality as an ideal emerged in Europe in the 18th century, particularly with the Romantic movement.

SO from the above practice, it is clear that I have understood what plagiarism. Since the Steem blockchain is all about proof of brain, i will make sure to always post original content. If there is need to copy from a research source, I will be sure to make proper attribution.
