#achievement 2 @oscar243 on basic security on steemit.

Hello steemians, I'm glad to be here again with my achievement 2 post.

Question 1: have u retrieve all your keys on steemit?
Answer - yes, after I completed the registration process.

Question 2: do you know each of these keys functions and restrictions?
Answer - yes, after going through the steps on how to keep my steem account secure. They are as follows:

1. The posting key : It is the most often used key, used for logging into your account at any time,make post and comments, edit, resteem etc.
2. Active key is more sensitive and can be used for task like trasnsfering funds, power up/down transactions, voting, converting steem dollars etc.
3. Owner key is a very important key and is only used when necessary. It can be used to change any key of an account including the owner key.
4. Memo key is used for encrypting and decrypting memo's during fund transfer.

Question 3: how do you plan to keep your master password?
Answer - by having an offline copy of the password stored in a safer place like using external flash drive or printing it on paper and saving same in a box.

Question 4: Do you know how to transfer your steam token to another steem user account?
Answer : The steps is as follows.

1. Login to your account
2. Click on profile, then click wallet.
3. Under the word steem, click on 0.001 steem. Some options will pop up, then click on transfer.

1. A new page will appear which will require you to input the account to transfer to, amount followed by the memo key,then click next to confirm.

Question 5: do you know how to power up your STEEM?
Answer - yes, it's almost the same process with making transfer as outlined below:

1. Login to your account
2. Click on profile, then click wallet
3. Locate where you have 0.001 steem. Click on it and an option box will pop up,then click on power up

1. A new page appears where you input the amount to power up, lastly click the power up button.
