Good day steemians, in my achievement 3 post I'll be talking about plagiarism.
Plagiarism is the representation of another authors language, thought, ideas or expression as one's own original work.
The types of plagiarism we have;

1. Direct plagiarism
   This is when the plagiarist copies and paste the text from someone else's work and neglects to cite the source or remove quotation marks. It is unethical.
2. Mosaic plagiarism
   This is when the writer borrow phrases or even parts from a particular source material without using quotation marks or substitute some of the words from the content without changing the original structure of the source.
3. Self plagiarism
   It is a situation where high school students copy and paste part of their previously submitted academic paper.
4. Accidental plagiarism
   This is when the plagiarist misquotes the phrases or part of the text he/she has taken from the source material or does not cite the source even or adequately r cites a wrong source.
   Consequences of plagiarism
   . Destroys professional reputation
   . Plagiarized Research
   . Destroys Academic reputation
   Note:
   *Ensure to follow the rules of citation style.

• When using another person idea, paraphrase it and ensure the words are in your words.
• To avoid all this consequences,one need to cite his or her sources
