My trip to Cameroon

Good morning Steemians, hope our nights were all good, okay today I'll be telling you guys about my trip to Cameroon, so two months ago I decided to visit Cameroon my former home and because I didn't have enough money to pay for a flight I decided to travel through the sea, I actually took a boat that's from oron in akwa ibom state Nigeria to idenau in south west region of Cameroon on that day it rained heavily that I would have changed my mind if only I had an option but I didn't I had to travel despite the rain and the Waves on the sea it was not my first time travelling through that medium but I must confess I was scared at a point because the boat almost sank,at that point all I could do was to say silent prayer do you know what that prayer was ( oh God don't let this boat sink, let me not die because I have so many people looking up to me, I have my siblings to take care of and above all my mom won't survive it if I should die) and God answered my prayer I was safe but guess what? When I was coming back to Nigeria two weeks ago same incident reoccurred or should I say something was than that happened, I don't know but this is what happened, I entered the boat from Eyenge beach that's a local beach or should I call it a local sea port still in the south west region of Cameroon I'm sure at this point you would be wondering why I didn't take idenau that I earlier mentioned the answer is that I was trying to manage the money I had, it doesn't make sense right? Yeah It won't make sense until I explain and that's exactly what I'll do now,so this is it, if you're taking a boat from Eyenge beach it's actually cheaper because you won't have to settle any check point on the sea but if you're taking idenau you might end up settling check points with all of your money so that's just what I was trying to avoid so now you understand why I took the decision I did I'll continue with the story, when the boat took off it was raining I know you'll be like raining again? Yeah it rained the day I was going and it rained again the day I was coming back that's life in the rainy season but on that day it didn't only rain but everywhere was covered with cloud and somewhere in the middle of the sea the boat lost track, what I mean is that because the sea was covered with cloud the boat driver could not see properly so he ended up taking us to a part of the sea which he himself didn't know so we had to stay put in the sea for over 30 minutes waiting for the clouds to vanish so that he could find his way back on track the truth is that we were scared by we I mean myself and the other passenger who's actually my friend who lives in calabar she was also coming back from Cameroon but the good news is that after a while everywhere was calm, the clouds vanished, and we sailed successfully to Ibaka beach that's still in oron that's the end of my adventure I'll be bringing you more by the grace of God thanks for reading
