Hello steemit family in newcomers community how are you people doing today, I welcome you to my blog post once again. Is been a while since I visited, and am happy to know that you all are in safe hands I want to write my achievement 2 task of security.

Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?

Yes I have retrieve all my keys, and also downloded them in a PDF format in my phone and also save the most important once like the active key and the owner key I save them in my email because I understand something when i was creating my steemit account. I come to understand the fact that if these key get compromised my account will get lost because Steemit don't recover password and it will actualy lead to loss of tokens.

Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?

Yes. With what I have understand steemit platform has four different keys that is very important with different use-case.i will have to explain each of these keys and their functions below to my understanding.

1. Master key: This is the first key you are giving when creating a steemit account and it is very important in steemit platfrom, the more reason it should be kept safe because it gives you access to your lost account and also has access to restoring other keys like the owner key active keys.

2. Owner Key: This key is also very important because it can be used to change other keys, unlike the master key that can be used to recover accounts,w while owner key can be used to change keys and setup a new keys

3. Active Key: this key is used for monetary transactions which is the most important part of the keys because without it you can make any transaction like transferring steem from one account to another. That is more reason why you should keep it safe because if it gets to an untrusted third-party, you may lose your token in steemit platfrom.

4. Posting key: is used to access the blogging platform and also it the the middle key between the owner and the content because without it you can make your post and without making Post you can make money on steemit platfrom.a also it is used to perform acrtivitied like voting, resteeming.

‌5. Memo Key: is also another key in steemit platfrom that you should kept safe even though third-party can not use it to manipulate your account it is still advice you keep it in a save place and also It is used for encrypting and decrypting messages on the platform you see why you need to keep it safe because someone can use it to write something that will affect in steemit platfrom.

How do you plan to keep your master password?

Master password is the very important key and it is the master over other keys as the name implies, it is meant to be store in a document were you will not lost it easily, That was why the day I registered to the plafrom, I stored my master key in my email address knowing it is save there as long as I still remember my email and the password which I believe I can't forget them.

Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?

Yes, I have and also I have to show you on screenshot of how to transfer steem or SBD token to another steem account. It is very easy to do, first you go to wallet and click on the token you want to transfer, you click on it, it will display a drop down menu them you will click on transfer and add the name of the person you wish to transfer to and the amount of steem or SBD you're transferring.

Do you know how to power up your STEEM?

Yes. When you want to Powring up you still need the same wallet process that is beeen done in your wallet. In your wallet you will click on the steem taken, a drop down menu will show up, you look for power up and then you click on it. You can see the screenshot on how it is Dom
