What is Plagiarism?

Plagiarism could be explained as someone is copying data or content from others work or some other resources like internet, books and someone others article. Plagiarism is also a type of stealing . This includes data/content of any data like published and unpublished data.

Types Of Plagiarism:

There are many types of Plagiarism. Most common types are,
(i) Self Plagiarism
(ii) Accidental Plagiarism
(iii) Direct Plagiarism
(iv) Paraphrasing Plagiarism

Self Plagiarism:

When I am using different parts of my previous assignment or task into my present work. At that time i am doing self plagiarism.

Direct Plagiarism:

It happens when i am copying directly the content idea or thought of others and i am pretending that this work or idea is mine own work. In short it could be explained as copy paste method.

Accidental Plagiarism:

When i am using others work but not in proper way. Like I am not giving attention towards citation and not using quotes marks.

Paraphrasing Plagiarism:

It occurs when you are using the content of someone else by repositioning the words and changing the content into your own words like by using synonyms of different words in place of original words. Original wording is not missing. But slightly changed.

Brain Using:

We can avoid Plagiarism by giving proof of usage of brain. Clearance of concept is compulsory. If you have clear concept your content will be plagiarism proof.

We can avoid Plagiarism by following steps.

*Provide link / name of author.
*Use quotation marks so that the reader can understand that it is a quote or someone else work.
*Use of brain will help you to avoid Plagiarism.
*If the submitted article is your own it should be in your own wording.
*Clear concept and your own wording will leads to plagiarized free content.
