Hello everyone Obeisance.
Hope you all are excellent and safe. I am Sanaton Chandra Roy from Bangladesh. Today I am executing my achievement task 3. the subject of Achievement 3 is content etiquette. I will share with you my thoughts on content etiquette.

Question: What is Plagiarism?
Answer: Plagiarism means presenting someone else's work or idea as your own and incorporating it into your own work without full acknowledgment. This is a serious crime that should never be committed. It's like cheating. We all get the plagiarism idea by now. The practice of plagiarism is that there is no innovation or creativity in the work. Because using someone else's data without permission, presenting it as his work, and taking all the credit is a form of robbery.

Question: Plagiarism can be divided into how many parts?
Answer: Plagiarism is divided into different categories. For example:

  1. Copy-paste Plagiarism.
  2. Direct Plagiarism.
  3. Self-Plagiarism.
  4. Incorrect Authorship or Misleading Attribution.
  5. Mosaic Plagiarism
  6. Accidental Plagiarism

Below I present to you what I know about some common plagiarism.

  1. Direct Plagiarism: This is plagiarism, which involves reposting someone's content without asking them directly. Which is a heinous crime.

  2. Copy-paste Plagiarism: Copy-paste plagiarism is copying the information of others and pasting it into one's statement, which means copy-paste plagiarism.

  3. Self-Plagiarism: A person writes content information for one community and presents copies of the same content to another community. This is called self-plagiarism.

  4. Mosaic Plagiarism: When a student quotes from a source without using exclamation marks and finds a copy of the author's language from the meaning, it is called Mosaic Plagiarism. Such plagiarism, whether intentional or not, is academically punishable.

  5. Accidental Plagiarism: Accidental plagiarism occurs when a person writes someone else's content and inadvertently forgets to give credit to the author or neglects to give credit to him.

Question: How to avoid plagiarism?
Answer: We can protect our data from plagiarism in various ways. Which is mentioned below:

  1. When we write on a subject, we write it entirely from our own ideas.
  2. Be careful to avoid repeating information.
  3. Keeping records of all our sources so that no one can use them later.
  4. Subjunctive signs are used for subjunctives.
  5. Use a plagiarism checker
  6. If you use someone else's information, credit must be given to him.
  7. Finally, be committed and confident in your work.

We all should be aware of plagiarism. So we should learn from the above reasons so that we can stay away from plagiarism. So everyone should be careful about this.

Finally, it is a punishable offense to pass off another's language, thought, idea, or expression as one's original work. Another's language or phrase is considered as his own property, which should not be stolen in any way. This is a bad practice that we should avoid. I hope to present the points mentioned above, what plagiarism is, the types of plagiarism, its causes, and how to prevent it.

Question: What are the causes of plagiarism?
Answer: People do such plagiarism for various reasons. For example:

  1. People who have no creative power.
  2. Lack of creativity in people.
  3. Lack of morals.
  4. Limitation of human knowledge.
  5. Lack of application of discipline techniques.
  6. Laziness is a primary reason why people steal.
  7. Inability to consider proper direction from various sources etc.
