I think this is a platform where users are encouraged to produce and share quality post of their own, that is creating posts with original content. But now a days plagiarism is increasing day by day. For some time I have been trying to find out about it from different places. Below I discuss what I came to understand after the Steemite Newcomer`s Community Etiquette Post.

What is Plagiarism?

Plagiarism means you have copy others content. Plagiarism is means that is article which are already exists in the search engines in millions of articles.

Types of Plagiarism

I know about 4 plagiarism which i want to discuss wih all my steemit fellows.
→Direct Plagiarism
→Self Plagiarism
→Mosaic Plagiarism
→Accidental Plagiarism

Direct Plagiarism

Direct plagiarism means word-for-word transcription of a section of other's work without their permission and without giving any source or quotation marks.

Self Plagiarism

Self-plagiarism is a plagiarism when a student submits his previous work and mixes parts of his previous works, without the permission of all his professors.

Mosaic Plagiarism

Mosaic Plagiarism is a plagiarism when a student borrows something from a source without using quotation marks of that source. When a author's descriptions keeping to the same general structure and meaning of the original words and content.

Accidental Plagiarism

This is a plagiarism when a person don't cite their sources, or unintentionally paraphrases using similar of words, and/or sentence structure without permission of the owner.

How to avoid Plagiarism

If you use someone's words or ideas without permission is Plagiarism. If you wants to avoid plagiarism, you have to correctly incorporate the sources third pirty's content.

4 steps to avoid plagiarism

I. Use the sources which you consult in your research.
II. Paraphrase from your sources & add your own ideas.
III. Always Credit the original creator with proper citation.
IV. Before submission, must use a plagiarism checker.

I think we sgould use our brain properly and avoid plagiarism forever. Everyone should careful about plagiarism. Thank you.
